Black Panther: Wakanda Forever doesn't hit theaters here in the US for another couple of weeks, but the Hollywood red carpet premiere is happening RIGHT NOW and you can watch it here live as it happens!

The red carpet event will start this evening (October 26th) at 8:15 PM ET / 5:15 PM PT. The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever red carpet premiere event will be live-streamed on October 27 around 5:45 AM (IST) for fans in India.

The red carpet premiere is being live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of Marvel Entertainment, and I've included the embed below.

TheBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever red carpet premiere can also be viewed through the official Marvel social media outlets.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits North American theaters November 11th and tickets are available for pre-order for most theaters. You can also get tickets through WakandaForeverTickets.com.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sees Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fighting to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livanalli.

We'll see a ton of people claiming it as the best movie ever because of a variety of factors, but I am curious regarding how the actual real public reception to this movie will be.

Personally I found the character of T'Challa most interesting in Civil War and did not feel the Black Panther movie advanced the character much - even so T'Challa, primarily due to the acting, was the only thing I liked about Black Panther. I've no interest in seeing a sequel without him and personally feel the character had a lot more directions he should have been taken before killing the character off.

Shuri in theory is an 'ok' replacement as she definitely has room for growth going from her 'evil colonizer' viewpoint of every non-Wakandan to accepting and wanting the outside world to interact with Wakanda - effectively the arc some wanted for Kilmonger... but this movie has shown no signs that her world view will alter, instead its more than likely to be re-enforced by the attacks from outsiders, whether they be Namor or the mercenaries.

Either way, my appeal in these films was tied to the T'Challa and Chadwick Boseman, without those aspects it's a pass.

How is this even remotely possible when by the end of Black Panther T'Challa not only challenged hundreds of years of tradition but he truly moved towards being a hero to the world and not just his people by opening Wakanda to the world and being willing to offer aid?

How is that not character advancement from where he was at the start of the film denying Nakia's request to help others outside Wakanda?

I'm here in these comments because I still have a level of interest in Black Panther thanks to the work of Chadwick Boseman and the story telling of T'Challa - most notable with the revenge plotline T'Challa went through in Civil War. With that said, it's interest in hearing how it is handled as opposed to witnessing it.

In my mind the perfect ending and finale to his character should have been leaving him as is, depicted happy watching the fireworks over Wakanda with his family in Endgame. That is how I want to remember T'Challa, Black Panther and Chadwick.

I won't risk that memory being dampened by watching Wakanda Forever which seems to focus more on his death, the sense of loss, the devastation of the family and Wakanda. It sounds depressing to me as opposed to a celebration of the character, coupled with a personal loss lately I'm not particularly interested in experiencing a movie about such topics.

My remark was that it did not "did not feel the Black Panther movie advanced the character MUCH" with the context comparing it to Civil War directly. Character development still happened, but Civil War was more of an emotional roller coaster with ups and downs of the journey as opposed to Black Panther which is a lot more linear.

Civil War he goes from being revenge filled to understanding that anger and emotional response is not the way forward. He also makes amends with the Avengers to the extent he actively offers Bucky shelter knowing it could result in a war.



By the time the Black Panther movie rolls around he's already actively decided to help outsiders so the decision to open Wakanda up to the rest of the world is a logical next step, especially when he discovers the history of his family. It's not a large growth for him to make because I'd already viewed him as accepting of outsiders thanks to the Civil War post-credits.

Just personal preference I guess. Black Panther's character development is not bad, but the revenge plotline and its writing/execution I found to be a lot more enjoyable. Though I admit to potential bias due to this being the introduction of the character.

In regards to this: "Black Panther's character development is not bad" was referring to the film. I view T'Challa/Black Panther the character as probably having the third or fourth most well handled character in the MCU and the only ones above him received a lot more time to be expanded upon.

I'm still going to be interested in concept art, story concepts, box office, general reception, people's experiences, etc... still a lot of stuff related to it that I'm interested in as opposed to just the film itself.

This is mostly the speculation stage, so everyone's in the same boat regarding inaccurate portrayals - my conclusions come from the production, filmmakers comments, marketing and general writing tropes.

Shuri having her closed Wakanda viewpoint tested, reinforced by Nammor/Militants and then her eventually decision to honor the legacy of T'Challa (likely by allying with Namor) seems like the logical choice for her character hence my speculation earlier.

@Scarilian - That's because T'Challa is inherently a good man at heart, and has always carried himself with the dignity and pride of a true King. Similar to Steve Rogers, there is very few places to take these kind of characters besides seeing how they tackles challenges and how the world around them reacts to their steadfast nature.

Helping the most virtuous man in history and his friend who T'Challa almost wrongfully killed is A LOT different than aiding the the people and governments of the outside world.

If the general public raves about this movie as well, will you still state they're just "claiming" to like it or will you acknowledge that they've accepted this new direction, despite your concerns?

Honestly, seems like you're just preparing to try to invalidate any overall reception that is good or greater.

Add to that I thought his story in CW was more original and surprising whereas, in contrast, BP felt by the numbers, tropey and predictable

I don't feel that is accurate because Civil War had him doing a revenge plot showing he's not steadfast in his nature and similarly you are remarking on how he started Black Panther not wanting to help the outside world based on tradition.

I'm not sure I'd describe him as steadfast due to his mind being changed on issues he seems steadfast about in both films.

Civil War primarily demonstrated Steve/Captain America as not being the 'most virtuous man' but I do understand your viewpoint on him and Bucky.

Personally I viewed it more as T'Challa being actively willing to deal with outside threats to Wakanda which would naturally involve the concept of individuals entering Wakanda and the secrets of Wakanda being shared with the world. Originally I thought Klaue would be part of this, revealing the secrets of Wakanda to the world.

I'm describing the general phenomenon of how a movie holds up over time as that tends to be more reflective than the initial response after people have had time to process the movie. Time itself will be the judge of that, not me, I'm just curious about how it'll end up.

Thanks, was cancer also sadly. Is another reason I'm not up for seeing a movie focusing around death/legacy of a loved one and a grieving family that's also tied to the death of an actor who passed away from cancer.
