We're still a little over a month away from the premiere of Black Panther, and despite already being one of 2018's most anticipated films, Marvel is making sure everyone knows its coming. A massive new billboard for the movie has been spotted in Los Angeles, teasing the epic standalone film's February 16th release date.

Spotted by Reddit user "Ylfsef," who shared the photo on the Marvel Studios subreddit, the billboard is reportedly located on Sunset Boulevard and is just as breathtaking as the posters and trailers have been for the movie. As you can see, T'Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) is standing tall atop a rocky formation shaped like a roaring panther overlooking the technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda. The billboard appears to be multiple stories tall, which is fitting as the king is also overlooking Los Angeles.

This is the second billboard for Black Panther that has been spotted in the Los Angeles, although the first one was not nearly as grand in scale.

Black Panther hits theaters February 16, 2018.

I know these are fictitious characters, but T'Chalia holds the weight of the world on his shoulders. The fact that the king has to be the protector and do his duties as king.

He also makes time for the avengers. It's crazy when you think about it

@MyCoolYoung -

Movie really needs to justify, more so than others, why he's actually taking up the mantle of Black Panther. Especially given he is effectively king at this point already.

His father was more of a diplomatic character in the brief time we saw him and i think using the whole 'fathers legacy' aspect would be a bit of a cop out.

The type of character they have made T'Challa in Civil War wouldn't be someone who would abandon his role as King simply to stop a couple of people stealing vibranium such as he does in the trailer when he jumps from the aircraft.

Visually it's interesting and it replicates the comics, but the characterization so far contradicts that when Civil War set him up as letting go of his anger/rage/desire for revenge. Plus his Dora Milaje could easily tackle these issues for him, that's basically the whole point of them.
