We have to believe the first Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer is on the way, and it would be a real surprise for it to not arrive in theaters alongside Thor: Love and Thunder this Thursday.
Now feels like the right time to drop an official sneak peek, anyway, particularly as more promo art from the film has found its way online. This is a little different to previous "Leaks, " as it's artwork typically used for reference by toy companies that produce merchandise such as Funko Pops and action figures.
After early looks at Shuri's new outfit, Namor the Submariner, and characters such as Attuma and Namora, this latest piece of promo art reveals Riri Williams' Mark I Ironheart armor. Red and blue, it's very much an exoskeleton you can imagine a genius like Riri would figure out how to piece together at an institute like MIT. Tony Stark would be proud, anyway, and Iron Man has clearly inspired Riri.
We won't be sharing the art here, though you can find it by heading to the r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers page on Reddit.
Thinking about it, we have to believe that access to Wakandan tech will be what leads to Riri building a suit that's a little sleeker and more in line with her comic book counterpart. Whether that's something we'll see in the Black Panther sequel is tricky to predict, especially as Ironheart has a Disney+ series right around the corner with Dominique Thorne reprising the role.
That show is sheduled for a 2023 or 2024 release, while Black Panther: Wakanda Forever remains on track for a November 11 debut in movie theaters. At this rate, we can't help but wonder how soon some promo art will reveal the MCU's new Black Panther...
