A new batch of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever concept art has been released, showcasing all the movie's lead characters, including Namor the Submariner, M'Baku, Shuri, Ironheart's first armour, and more...

There's only one Marvel Studios movie left in 2022, and that is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The final chapter in Phase 4, the sequel will reveal who takes over the Black Panther mantle in the wake of T'Challa's death, while also introducing key characters like Namor the Submariner and Ironheart.

Now, some new promo art has been revealed showcasing the movie's lead characters.

Below, we have Shiru, Nakia, Okoye, M'Baku, Attuma, Namor the Submariner, Namora, and Riri Williams suited up as Ironheart. This marks our best look yet at the latter, and that homemade suit of armour (believed to be made up of used car parts) is certainly pretty unique.

It's hard not to look at the suit and be reminded of what Tony Stark came up with in that cave once upon a time. However, recent Ironheart set photos have indicated that Riri's armour will differ greatly from both Iron Man and even her comic book counterpart, as Marvel Studios sets out to make this character entirely unique (and not just Iron Man 2.0).

Surprisingly, we still don't have any leaked shots of the new Black Panther, though common sense says Marvel Studios is looking to keep that reveal under wraps for as long as they possibly can before November.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livanalli.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives in theaters on November 11, later this year.

Marvel needs to stop using baby blue for alien/non-human races. Frost Giants, Kree, now Atlanteans, it's getting old.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 8/19/2022, 6:18 AM
@nonserviam - Kree can be be blue or pink.

And it makes total sense for races that live in a frozen realm or underwater to be blue.

Drace24 - 8/19/2022, 6:19 AM
@nonserviam - They also used green, yellow, gold, pink, white, red... It's a very colorful universe, actually.

@nonserviam - namor not blue I see your point looking like avatar

@dragon316 - Namor is supposed to look different because he’s something else

@CorndogBurglar - So it.makes sense for them to be blue because they are from the ocean? What are they all descended from Dory? And to argue the practicality of it before you bring it up, why not gray? Sharks are gray, it helps them to blend better in to their surroundings, and makes them harder to see from above.

@Drace24 - Yeah, they use a rainbow of colors, but it's literally the same shade of blue. With a plethora of shades of blue at hand, somebody at marvel got lazy and hit the same color option each time they said "blue."

FireandBlood - 8/19/2022, 7:55 AM
@nonserviam - Atlanteans in Marvel are blue, so they’re going to be blue.

There’s more races that are white, black and shades of brown in the Marvel. Should they stop using those, too?
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 8/19/2022, 7:56 AM
@nonserviam - No, but water is blue. So they made them blue all those decades ago when they created Atlanteans in the comics.

And the same people didn't all create everything at the same time. There are different colored races and aliens all throughout the Marvel Universe. We've seen 3 blue races, a couple green races, Thanos being purple, and countless other colored aliens in the GotG movies. But it just so happens that 3 of the more prominent ones we've seen are blue.

Are you suggesting they should change their skin colors for the movies? Gamora and the Skrulls are both green. Maybe they should do something about that?

CorndogBurglar - 8/19/2022, 7:58 AM
@dragon316 - Namor isn't blue because he's half human.
FireandBlood
FireandBlood - 8/19/2022, 7:58 AM
@CorndogBurglar - Well, they did change Drax to grey for this reasoning, which makes him look worse, in my opinion.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 8/19/2022, 8:04 AM
@PlusUltra - Agreed. But Drax is also in the same movie with Gamora and they share screen time together. I still dont agree with it, but I get it.

Complaining that different races across the MCU are colored the same that will almost never be seen together, like Atlanteans and Frost Giants, seems a little petty.

@nonserviam - really? someone is complaining that comicbook characters are too comicbook accurate? seems dumb, but ok.
Blastaar
Blastaar - 8/19/2022, 9:00 AM
@nonserviam - Well....Maybe because the Atlanteans have always been light blue in the comics.....Yet we even have most humanoids the same colors as earth humans(pink & brown)in the comics and the movies.

@nonserviam - Dude, of allllll the work it takes to make this franchise what it is and you're trying to say they're lazy for using blue on different species?

I think what's more plausible is that you just don't know how any of this works or what goes into making these decisions.

In summation: stupid complaint
StSteven

@CorndogBurglar - I mean, hell, how many colors do you think Quill has punched on his "Alien Chick Bang Card" so far? 6? 8? A bag of Skittles AND a bag of Starbursts' worth? And what exactly does one get when they fill up their card? Is it the 3-boobed chick from Total Recall? I need answers, damn it! THIS is what the fans want answers to, not what the Hulk was doing during during the Blip (although if it involved Tony that could totally have involved alien space chicks).
ComicBandit
ComicBandit - 8/21/2022, 10:02 PM
@nonserviam - Makes sense for them to be blue because they were blue in the comics way before Avatar and Dory were even conceived. :)

It’s just so refreshing to see all this new legacy characters come to forefront now we’re at this point in the MCU. It feels exciting and more importantly, earned.

mountainman - 8/19/2022, 7:54 AM
Why isn’t Namor blue like the rest of them? And wasn’t Namorita also not blue in the comics? Is the difference that he is a mutant too?
FireandBlood
FireandBlood - 8/19/2022, 7:56 AM
@mountainman - He’s a bi-racial human/Atlantean mutant.
