BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Promo Art Reveals Closer Look At M'Baku, Atlanteans, And Ironheart's Armor

A new batch of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever concept art has been released, showcasing all the movie's lead characters, including Namor the Submariner, M'Baku, Shuri, Ironheart's first armour, and more...

There's only one Marvel Studios movie left in 2022, and that is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The final chapter in Phase 4, the sequel will reveal who takes over the Black Panther mantle in the wake of T'Challa's death, while also introducing key characters like Namor the Submariner and Ironheart.

Now, some new promo art has been revealed showcasing the movie's lead characters.

Below, we have Shiru, Nakia, Okoye, M'Baku, Attuma, Namor the Submariner, Namora, and Riri Williams suited up as Ironheart. This marks our best look yet at the latter, and that homemade suit of armour (believed to be made up of used car parts) is certainly pretty unique.

It's hard not to look at the suit and be reminded of what Tony Stark came up with in that cave once upon a time. However, recent Ironheart set photos have indicated that Riri's armour will differ greatly from both Iron Man and even her comic book counterpart, as Marvel Studios sets out to make this character entirely unique (and not just Iron Man 2.0).

Surprisingly, we still don't have any leaked shots of the new Black Panther, though common sense says Marvel Studios is looking to keep that reveal under wraps for as long as they possibly can before November.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livanalli.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives in theaters on November 11, later this year.

Marvel needs to stop using baby blue for alien/non-human races. Frost Giants, Kree, now Atlanteans, it's getting old.

@nonserviam - Kree can be be blue or pink.

And it makes total sense for races that live in a frozen realm or underwater to be blue.

@nonserviam - They also used green, yellow, gold, pink, white, red... It's a very colorful universe, actually.

@CorndogBurglar - So it.makes sense for them to be blue because they are from the ocean? What are they all descended from Dory? And to argue the practicality of it before you bring it up, why not gray? Sharks are gray, it helps them to blend better in to their surroundings, and makes them harder to see from above.

@Drace24 - Yeah, they use a rainbow of colors, but it's literally the same shade of blue. With a plethora of shades of blue at hand, somebody at marvel got lazy and hit the same color option each time they said "blue."

I'm still holding out some hope that Nakia or Okoye will become the new Black Panther, but I doubt it

Why isn’t Namor blue like the rest of them? And wasn’t Namorita also not blue in the comics? Is the difference that he is a mutant too?
