'Captain America' Battles 'Crossbones' In New CIVIL WAR Photos; Jeremy Renner Arrives On Set

More photos from the set of Captain America: Civil War have surfaced, and they give us a much better look at the battle between the titular superhero and Crossbones. We also have some new shots of The Falcon, one of which confirms that these scenes are taking place in Africa...

Thanks to Just Jared, we have some great action shots from the set of Captain America: Civil War. As you can see, it appears as if the guantlets Brock Rumlow is wearing as Crossbones have made him considerably more powerful, and he sends Steve Rogers flying here. The final image of those features here - many more can be found by clicking on the link below - also confirms what many of us suspected; these scenes do indeed take place in Africa. Whether or not it's Wakanda is another matter, but with Black Panther set to play a role in the threequel, you have to imagine that there will be some ties. What do you guys think? So Cap, Black Widow, Falcon, and now Hawkeye are in this scene? We just need War Machine and Vision to appear on set, and all the New Avengers will be accounted for here.

Makes me think that this scene happens relatively early on, before the Registration Act really gets a chance to tear the team apart. Maybe not the first scene (I think that spoilery funeral will be the first), but early enough.

Kind of wish he got an actual mask (Crossbones) instead of a helmet but it makes sense considering he has to go up against avengers, i just hope Zemo gets his purple mask!

@MARVELPSYCHO79 Man I second you on the Civil War and Doctor Strange thing. I'm equally hyped for both movies. However, I'm super curious about how Derrickson is going to portray Strange. I hope writers deliver a good script. I'll be very disappointed if they don't since Doctor Strange is one of my all-time favorite characters.

@TheEpicJuicebox I think that this is just his suit for when he battles the Avengers. He's probably gonna wear the classic mask at some point in the film.
