“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” picks up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014. In addition to “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on other iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

LoL, dammit! Thought he was in his Crossbones suit/attire. But from the looks of it, it seems like an inside job being done by Crossbones. I really am looking forward to seeing what he does throughout the film.

So either Crossbones is undercover for whoever the mastermind is and possibly has to "deal" with the three, or the "police squad" that Grillo is with is all paid to take Falcon, Cap, Black Widow (and possibly Fury) to some undisclosed location and "deals" with them.

I may be wrong on this, but this is really shaping up to be something really interesting.

DO YOU REALLY EXPECT HIM TO HAVE A SKULL FACE? It would look ridiculous.

"like ghost from cod "

That's what I thought they were gonna do, though we may see that type of costume later in the film, but that's what I thought he was going to look like, however he could simply be undercover here as it looks like he's masquerading as police officer, I wouldn't rule out the skull mask just yet.

So he teams up with black widow and not falcon? Falcon was always his support in comics...not black widow...I don't get it

Winter Soldier so far has the best costume. Now we just need to actually see everyone else in costume.

I really hope this is just Crossbones working undercover with a bunch of crooked cops. I'm sure Steve doesn't want to hurt the law so it would make sense for the bad guys to try to exploit this. They are likely trying to take Cap, Widow and Falcon to a quiet place to get rid of them.

Guys this is all one scene. So what if they're not in thier costumes. Crossbones is most likely undercover. As much shit going on I wouldn't be surprised if he was.

Some people must think he wears his costume to get groceries.

[frick] sake. Weve seen like 3 minutes of the film! Calm your farm people!

Crossbones will probably be the one that helps sets them up and the reason why the police go after Widow, Fury, Falcon and Captain America, probably plants incriminating evidence on them or something. Film so far reminds me of GI Joe Retaliation

Captain china : communist soldier..... that's the rumour going around marvel will shoot a slightly different version to "panda" (get it?) To the Chinese market just like they did with iron man 3 but taken to the extreme so they can get more $$

@Jobin

I've been thinking about that Smithsonian rumor...

The costume they have shouldn't be this one?

I mean, that's the costume he used in the USO shows and the one he's (probably) most famous for.

His "real" suit went to the ice with him. Why would it be in a museum?

I'm sure the suit in the Smithsonian is gonna be his "real" TFA suit. But, logistically, it shouldn't.

Chris Evans looking pretty weak there. Did the super soldier serum wear off?

Calm ur tits fanbitches...this is one scene. How come nobody has a problem with how skinny Evans is?? Why isnt he swoll again like his first movie?? I didn't think he should have been as big in Avengers due to being in ice for 70yrs. But I thought he should be back to swoll by this one. Not sure what Hemsworth excuse was for Avengers, but I hope Thor 2 has him jacked again. Speaking of jacked...I appreciate Jackman so much more now for his dedication to his Wolvy role. Hes 15yrs older then the Chris brothers, but he's bigger and in much better shape. He takes his role serious, which means he respects us as fans.

bbarber2323: Evans and Hemsworth are big guys. It might be the outfit or something cause he doesn't exactly look small and I'm sure the super soldier serum never wore off in the comics and I doubt it will here.

Here's my speculation and its pretty much in line with everyone else here. Brock Rumlow is an undercover cop who works for Robert Redford's character. Final battle is gonna be Cap vs Winter Soldier and I think Crossbones will appear in comic attire once and have at least one battle with Cap in this one and they'll counter each other again in Cap 3. Either way, this is shaping up to be one hell of an interesting sequel. Still think it'll take The First Avenger's place as the best solo movie Marvel has put out and I still think it may be up there with the likes of Spider-Man 2 and The Dark Knight as one of the best CBM sequels ever

Those fake cops/swat have no skills. Naturally, they would have pat down the Black Widow slowly.
