After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

this helmet for the SHIELD suit should have the EARS COVERED!!!! its a helmet! the ears should be exposed only if its a mask cowl ! like spidermans material the helmet looks better with ear covered like in the first avenger movie

Really looking forward to this film! It has the taste I've been looking for in regards to Cap's role in these marvel movies. It's thematic portrayal also gives it that feel early phase 1 movies gave me.

Also love the suit, though it could be a little tighter. But it makes sense as a soldier's uniform.

Wonder if Zemo and Red Skull will make an appearance in Cap 3? And is it possible that Avengers 2 could feature the Masters of Evil seeing that in the comics Ultron was in charge of the group?

the only part that looks too baggy is the ab section but overall i like it but i still prefer the updated first avenger suit with 3 stripes unlike the original with only 2 that cap is gonna wear toward the end of this movie. ( i also see that they let Chris Evans grow his sideburns unlike in the first movie and avengers movie he didn't have them/very short ones . chris likes them BURNSSSSSS)

@KingEmp well is not that its baggy its just the ab section ,i think the pattern/design in that section could have been better . it looks weird if they had made stronger /straight lines it would of been better but i like it .

I feel as if the only thing wrong with Caps costume in the Avengers was his cowl. Whenever he wore it off the costume looked better to me. Still hoping we get that dragon scaled costume nod someday though...

If they do the dragon scales suit for Steve it will have to be reminiscent of the new suit he has in the comics because it will look corny with his original costume

@TheBlackNerd yeah i agree the suit in the avengers was great the only bad parts were the egg shaped helmet and the tiny belt (should of been thicker ). they originally had a cowl mask that was leather or at least looked like it but they scratched it for some reason and went with the egg helmet . i agree when he wasn't wearing it it was just great ! i loved it with out it . that leather cowl actually is in the movie in the scene when cap , widow , and hawk eye suit up he walks up to it when its in the locker area and there it is the better cowl and #2 when the avengers are in the hell carrier before bruce banner turns into hulk he's wearing it back/off position like a hoodie . theres one promo pic (high HD quality with just the face and black background) that came out after the movie and chris evans looks 10X better with the cowl that they didn't use then with the egg helmet they used ... i wonder why they took it out? someone post it please

@TheBlackNerd yeah bro that leather cowl is awesome! if you watch avengers again pause it on the scene wear he walks up to the suit to wear it for the first time and its there hanging . maybe they didn't use it because the helmet they used was easier ffor the scene when the alien pulls it off? and the leather cowl would of been more difficult? i don't know but they did a mistake not using it over the egg helmet . (maybe i can look up the pic of that scene I'm talking about)

@Theblacknerd and thats the only part in the movie it comes out in besides when its hanging on his back when he and tony stark argue in the hellicarrier , but u can't really see it there.

That suit is perfect in that shot same as the helmet. And I really think that Redford will be Red Skull or some other villain.
