After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier. Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is produced by Kevin Feige, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp and Hayley Atwell, with Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

I gave in and watched a cam from Mexico. They too, had a different list for Cap, including Shakira. LOL. Movie was the best Marvel Solo film. I'm sure another viewing will make it above Avengers.

During the bit where S.H.I.E.L.D. were scanning for threats with the helicarriers, three people were zoomed in on and tagged. I'm certain, absoloutely certain, one of them was Michael Korvac. I managed to read the name as far as Michael Ko before the screen moved on.

"Lmfao I'm not hating but it seems this movie will have a lot of pointless action"

No. That's not pointless, Shield is after Cap and he's trying to escape Triskelion. Quinnjet was in his way, he HAD to take it out. It's not as if he could just fly out of there.

That's strange though I thought Korvac was from the future or something. I guess he'll be more like the EMH version, who was a modern day human.

This is nothing compared to some of the other action scenes in the film. My personal favorite is when...

SPOILER

Well even if it wasn't Korvac, it's probably still an Easter egg. There was a Simon in there too, figured that could be Wonder-Man.
NovaCorpsFan
NovaCorpsFan - 4/1/2014, 10:58 AM
Korvac was a robot in the future, who put his consciousness back through time into a human body.

"Pointless action"?? It's a superhero movie!

What's next... watching a clip from a Shakespearean production and saying there's too much "pointless Iambic Pentameter"?

If you've ever read any Cap books, he uses his shield like a boomerang, or even like a cue ball on a pool table. He throws it at the right angle to make it bounce where he wants it, or in pool uses english on it. If you watch the video the shield bounces twice then bounces straight up, he just judged his jump at the right time to catch it as it fell back toward the ship.
