After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

The Marvel sequel hits US theaters this Friday.

It's better to let people know not to expect he's Red Skull. He isn't Red Skull. He's better.

Just came here to say this movie is a big MEH. It is the most overhyped Marvel movie I have seen. It's a bridge to Avengers in terms of plot but nothing more. Don't believe the hype, this movie could have been better before Avengers, but now it's just silly. The size-scale of things happening in the Marvel universe already feels too big for this movie to succeed.

I literally kept waiting for Cap to call any of the Avengers before everything went out of hand and destroyed a gazillion dollars worth of military tech.

SPOILERS! (Highlight to read at your own risk, of course)

While Falcon and Cap are out shutting down the 3 Helicarriers, Widow and Fury are in the World Security office revealing who Alexander truly is, an agent of Hydra. Hard to explain, but Widow pulls a "John McClane in Live Free or Die Hard" and electrocutes herself in the chest with the button thing (Again, hard to explain)... All you need to know is that Widow is down and Pierce and Fury are the only ones left. Fury puts a few bullets in him, ultimately killing him. He's not Lukin. He's not Red Skull. Honestly, I think it was a missed opportunity. They sort of wasted him here in this movie.
