After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” hits shelves September 9, 2014.

I really hope caps fighting style and strength is the same in Avengers 2. His fighting technique and power was incredible in TWS, whereas he seemed kind of average in the first Avengers movie

On my flight over the weekend CA:TWS was the movie being played. The headphone jack in my seat was awful so I couldn't listen to the movie. Despite no sound, I watched it and enjoyed almost as much as seeing it in the theater. It is that good. All of the action scenes are superb.

Why do you need to apologize for your opinion? It's rather unseemly.

For the sake of civility, of course not. That being said, you do seem to enjoy playing the contrarian in the Marvel threads.

I find it unbelievable that, in your mind, not ONE MS movie is close to the DK movies. I'm not going to waste time trying to convince you one way or the other but your judgment is totally called into question. I don't feel that The Dark Knight Rises was good at all. But hey, you can't dispute taste.

Nice. I thought I heard a rumor about a WS stunt double on the AoU set? Maybe it was bs.
