Filming for Captain America: The Winter Soldier continued today, Monday, in Los Angeles, where stars Chris Evans & Scarlett Johansson were spotted filming a kick-ass scene with a certain S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. The scene appears to involve Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, confronting[SPOILER ALERT] Agent Jasper Sitwell, played by returning actor Maximiliano Hernández. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” picks up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014. In addition to “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on other iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

@banesmash it's just annoying that you're negative on everything Marvel. Why can't you just like each universe equally? That's what I do, I think TDKR and Avengers were both great movies, I probably even like TDKR a little bit more, but you can't say Iron Man3 or Avengers weren't good movies just because you're biased. Iron Man3 was a great story and wrapped up Tony's story arc perfectly, the action scenes were great, and Killian was intimidating and put up one hell of a fight.. what more could you ask for?

also if you're going to criticize Iron Man3 because 'The Mandarin' wasn't protrayed properly you're kidding yourself.. Mandarin is a low level villain at best, and just the most popular of Iron Mans crap rouge gallery.. he is a racist character and would never translate well onto film.. if you actually watched the movie, I personally think they did the Mandarin persona justice. Killain had the attitude, skills, and tattoos of comic Mandarin, while Kingsley had the look and intimidation of comic Mandarin. It was a great portrayal of the character, and the twist worked extremely well in the context of the film.

Totally agree with you. Believe it or not sometimes the comics don't get it right first time. Marvel Studios took a pretty rubbishy character and did something interesting with him.

The Mandarin seems to get a complete overhaul every few years anyway.

@SweetTooth316 It's somewhat of a spoiler because Jasper Sitwell is a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent. Cap & Widow are S.H.I.E.L.D. affiliates.

It's kind of a spoiler in the sense that obviously Cap and BW have some beef with Sitwell and probably SHIELD.

Looks like they might go awol or (as they like to say in Mission Impossible) 'disavowed'. I have no idea what that word means but I like to use it whenever possible.

I have a feeling on this one Cap and from the looks of thing Black Widow are gonna kind of rebel against SHIELD, Cap may even defy orders to kill Winter Soldier and would rather try to save his friend, causing friction between him and the agency :]
