"Honest Trailer" For CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Doesn't Hold Back

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is widely considered to be one of the best Marvel Studios movies to date, but that hasn't stopped the "Honest Trailers" team from their nitpicking ways! Hit the jump to find out what faults they found with the sequel in this admittedly funny breakdown...

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

It's rare to find an "Honest Trailer" where they're forced to admit the movie was actually really damn good! Even so, they find some very funny stuff to point out and make fun of here, and they do raise a fair few valid points about the Anthony and Joe Russo helmed movie. Starring Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Frank Grillo, Felicity Jones, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, Samuel L. Jackson, and Robert Redford, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is set to be released on DVD and Blu-ray next month and in the UK from yesterday. Will you guys be picking up a copy?

The fun of Honest Trailers is that they point out the flaws in any movie. Good or bad.

"He's cool now."

When was Captain America ever not cool? It's like all those idiots who say Superman isn't cool because he's too much a good guy. What the hell is so uncool about having an overwhelming sense of good and always seeking to do the right thing?

Even the honest trailer didn't put me off it one bit. I watched it last night on 3D blu-ray and I'm getting withdrawl symptoms already.

Best CBM made in my opinion, which is right, but that was some funny shit. I love these.

The MOS honest trailer is still my favorite.

Haha, most of the problems with the movie had to do with how it meshed with the MCU. That is why Cap2 is still my favorite movie ever.
