Hey, geeks! From my latest poll here are the results, some of it might surprise you:

Probably offering no surprise to most, Green Lantern failed on this poll just as it failed at the box office and reviews.

78 Votes (9.39%)

While being the best critically reviewed CBM of this year, X-men: First Class while might be an okay film with most, it strayed too far away from source material, and continuity, to make it to the top of this year's CBM's.

91 Votes (10.95%)

Gaining praise from critics and fans alike the first superhero flick this year, Thor smashes his way to second place.

129 Votes (15.47%)

Despite having one of the most criticized casting choices for the lead role in this year's superhero flicks, Captain America: The First Avenger made the competition ricochet off his mighty shield giving him first place.

534 Votes (64.03%)

Cap- Perfectly carried us over to Avengers
X-Men- Surprisingly good movie all things concidered
Thor- Problably the most difficult to bring to reality done beautifully
GL- It was made for kids and should be treated as such.

GL & Thor are tied for me.

But by the end of the day,

Deathly Hallows Part 2 makes all of these combined look like Last Airbender. I find it funny how it's made more worldwide than all of them combined.

Mischief managed!

I can't believe how one sided this was, I enjoyed all four, X-men FC I saw 2 and a half times, CA TFA 1 and a half, the other two just once, though I wished I saw them again.
Each movie strayed from the comics, even Cap. Bucky didn't even have a costume. I guess it's the Ultimate version or something...and there was no Nick Fury in those Howling Commandoes
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie, I just don't think it's all that much better than the other three

Doesn't surprise me that Captain America won, with Thor in second. GL shouldn't even be on that list. It was terrible. Better writers needed for the sequel and ONE villain.

Haven't seen GL or 1st Class yet (GL is now in the cheap theatre so this week) but don't anticipate either beating Cappy. I was very surprised by Cap, I expected it to be about the same level as Hulk or Thor, entertaining but not as good as they could be. Cap was a rare movie that was better than its trailers. Unfortunately, these Marvel movies always seem to need another 30 minutes they fly by so fast. Still, it is a good sign since they are already 2 hours long and since one doesn't notice the length it means they aren't boring.
