MTV caught up with Samuel L. Jackson while he was promoting his new film and asked him about what he thinks about Chris Evans playing The First Avenger:Captain America.

Check it out:

"Evans is the right guy. Not a problem. They seem to be making great steps in the right direction to make all these films happen in the right way. So I'm looking forward to going to London and meeting Captain America."

The sad thing is it's taking DC so long to "get in the right direction" with it's films. But I think Green Lantern and Nolan's Superman is the begining of hope for more DC films.

I think the problem is DC keeps on making they're weirder movies like the vertigo things and not the big names that would make a lot of green.

Lee, Samuel is PERFECT for Nick Fury. We all know that you hate Ultimates, but can't you just let it go? SLJ is Nick Fury in the movie Marvel universe and he IS a great actor. Let it go man, that fact is not going to change. Just enjoy the movies and his performance.

Oh, the same goes about Chris Evans playing Captain America. At least wait until the movie and then criticize the casting all you want if his performance is bad.

I hope that I'm able to find out where they're filming in the UK although I'm guessing that they'll keep it all as secret and hidden as they are with Thor! :P

I'm all for Sam playing Nick Fury, although my first choice was always George Clooney.

And to me, Bruce Willis is Cable :)

Lee@ jackson didn't have to say he is the "right guy". He could have gotten by just saying that he is a good actor and that he is looking forward to working with him.

I am always disappointed when I hear ANY Sam Jackson quote that does not have Motha F**ka in it. Something like "Chris Evans?! Get this Mutha F**kin` actor off this Mutha F**kin` movie!"

Lee just has a sore anus, thats all.

And I trust SLJ's comments. He's an established actor; he's knows his stuff.

@StarSapphire, Depends on what your looking for. It's pretty serious. Haven't read it in a while, but I remember pretty well. I enjoyed the first enough when I read it to pick up volume 2. There are some things in it I like:
-I like the whole style of the WW2 stuff
-Ultimate Bucky ages, and it really goes into Cap dealing with being in a time that's not his own
-Cap's costume
-its story of SHIELD putting together the team works better for movies than, just having these people meet by chance
But there's a lot I don't like:
-ultimate Cap pretty much sucks compared to regular Cap
-Ultimate Iron Man's armor is ugly as a...
-It's just a little too serious for my taste

Ranger14

@LEEE777 It is true, if they made Fury the classic version, Willis would have been awesome as Nick Fury

Sam Jackson is no doubt the right choice for Nick Fury. No question about it.
