I'd like to see this after Cap 3, set it up at the end/after credits. Do it for one movie or so and then have Evans return.

Would be something fresh, and not done before in MCU!

Would be a great move. This really would be the only thing that would keep me interested in Marvel films after Avengers 3

Cap could die and then come back in a TV series on ABC that takes way too long to explain how he survived! Brilliant!

i would never want that to happen. Bucky is awesome as winter soldier, keep it that way.

This would fit perfectly. Have Evans do Avengers 2, Cap 3 and Avengers 3 then pass the torch to Stan so he can take that break he's been wanting then have him return in the future. I'm game!

I'd rather him stay WS, but become like Captain America. He could be the one to stop world threats, and terrorist acts.

@bigdannymac,

How you dare to bring common sense in a marvel thread, you should be reported, ignored and banned.

He wants to be Cap, but first he wants a piece of that black widow ass.

@Rulk - Did I say anything about his ACTING credentials? SMH

I am well versed in his movie roles kind sir. My point, that clearly went over your head, was... in CA2TWS, he had all of 5 lines, and that's enough to sell us on him being the next Cap?

The ONLY thing I didn't like about Cap 2 was how little TWS was actually used in the movie. I get the "silent" killer thing.. but I would have preferred better dialogue setup for him. Something that would make us go.. "whoa, he's gonna be the next Cap for sure". I didn't get that from the movie. Has nothing to do with "can he act"

SMH to you too

Since Steve didn't die in Cap 2, he should kick the bucket in Cap 3 so that we can have Bucky keeping the "legacy" alive in Avengers 3.

We already now Chris is doing Cap 3, so no point in hoping for him to die in Age of Ultron.

Steve should have really died in Cap 2 to have Bucky as Cap'n A for the end of the Captain America trilogy.

That's a great ending, like how Iron Man 3 was to Tony's solo "trilogy".

Too soon. Cap hasn't even become THE leader of the Avengers and Bucky hasn't been the good Winter Soldier yet.

Maybe after Avengers 3 they could start thinking about it.

Well, it would be EAYSY to build up hype for Avengers 3 and kill our greatest hero at the end of it.

That is good to do, IF Evans retires from the role as he has hinted. Avengers fight THANOS in the third one and Cap pays the price for freedom ;)
