I have a 12 year old cousin who [frick]ing knew Captain America was a comic book. When he first saw the teaser during the super bowl he was like, "that was frisking awesome, but to bad they didn't go with the 40s costume, and thank gOd Bucky isn't a teenage sidekick." He then asked if Joe Simon or Stan lee would have cameos. These little brats are like "Captain America was a comic hero that appeared in the 40s!?! Was he made by the batman creator Chris Nolan?

@covertavenger-Sandler is about as funny as impotence on your hunnymoon with your newlywed supermodel.Or about as funny as being wrapped in bacon, and dropped in a great white shark tank.Or about as funny as stepping on broken Christmas tree balls on Christmas morning, cutting your foot open, being rushed to the hospital, needing 14 stitches,a tetanus shot and being billed $5000 with no health insurance.
Advice to that kids parents: wait til it ends up on TV,save the ticket money and invest it in your local comic shop.

gonna be the black sheep on this, but I don't think Captain America is really marketed mainly for kids who know didly squat about it in greater detail. You'd get more of a reaction from them if you pop in the mainstream kid shows they actually watch and expect. Show them something like a Schindler's list or something else totally out of their immediate interest range and the reaction would probably be the same. Granted some of them are a bit knowledgeable, the rest looked like they were forced to watch shit just to get the candy reward at the end the guy holding the remote promised.
