THE MARVELS Stills Put The Spotlight On The CAPTAIN MARVEL Sequel's Villain, Ms. Marvel, And More

Captain Marvel was a $1 billion hit back in 2019, with Brie Larson's Carol Danvers later appearing (briefly) in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame

Her appearances in those movies were shot before that solo outing, hence why the Russo Brothers didn't do as much with the hero as they probably wanted! Since then, the Captain has made a cameo appearance in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, but The Marvels will finally put Carol back in the spotlight.

Following today's trailer debut, we now have a new gallery of stills from the highly anticipated sequel.

There aren't too many major reveals to be found here, though a closer look at Zawe Ashton's Kree villain is definitely appreciated. Yes, that's a hammer similar to the one once wielded by Ronan the Accuser and she does indeed appear to be wearing a bangle identical to Ms. Marvel's.

Elsewhere, we get a closer look at Carol, Kamala Khan, Monica Rambeau, and Goose.

Check out these new stills from The Marvels below.

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau.

Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

The movie stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon.

Nia DaCosta directs, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos and Matthew Jenkins serve as executive producers. The screenplay is by Megan McDonnell, Nia DaCosta, Elissa Karasik and Zeb Wells.

The Marvels arrives in theaters on November 10.
