@Hellsboy

Yet, none of those Marvel titles are events. I'm not sure Inhumanity is an event. Isn't Forever Evil an event from DC?

what about the other companies? image has had some pretty decent books the last couple of years or so...far from the big muscle and terrible anatomy of the early "style over substance days (vaugh is killing it with saga). hat about Valiant? Boom Studios? Dynamite? IDW? Dark Horse? cmon now.

@TheHeat

Yeah but DC built up to it for a couple of years with the hints towards Pandora's box, Atom betraying the justice league, and the outsider knowing all about Batman and where he lives. Whereas Marvel says "The Marvel universes will never be the same" and generates about 3 big events a year that literally have no consequence to them (By the way its typically hero vs hero), not counting big events in solo titles like Big Time, Ends of earth(more heroes fighting each other) and Trial of Jean grey, or tie- ins on things like Civil War and Infinity.
