Dustin Weaver did a great job with the artwork for the first three issues. Avengers is another comic book series I'm going to suscribe to for the Marvel Now relaunch. Can't wait!

Looks awesome. I'm a sucker for these covers, but I wasn't all that interested in this series. But now I'm getting the covers, so I may as well be interesting.

Can someone please please please do a manip of how that Iron Man armor would look in the movies? It's so freaking badass. They better include it in the Avengers 2. But serious, if anyone out there has some photoshopping skills, please make a movie version of the new armor!

Cant believe Marvel actually got shook by what DC did, they aren't calling it a reboot but basically there is no need for X-Men or FF, they are all co-mingled into these cheap ass Avenger teams. Might as well be called the Avenger Universe.

YES! Covers look fantastic.

Gonna be sad to see Bendis go after so long, but I like Jonathan Hickman, so I'm sure it will be great.

Also sad about the absence of Doc Strange, Iron Fist and Cage, but change is inevitable.

wait...i see Cap'n Marvel, Cannonball (why him..?), not sure who's the guy in the far back behind cap marvel...and i do hope that's the Human Torch (don't care which one, johnny or jim the original). but it's about time the Avengers has a human torch. next...ICEMAN.

ps: Thor DOES look silly in that pose.
niknik
niknik - 9/5/2012, 9:15 AM
Cap's Hockey Pad, Knee Pads, chin strap, and armor uniform is retarded. Plain and simple. And Thor in mostly black leather looks like he should be riding a Harley named Mjolnir.

No thanks Marvel.

If you don't know why Cannonball is on the team, you should have been reading AvX.
