Whenever Bruce gets hurt he turns into the hulk. If in a mission he's for example thrown into the air by an enemie and he didn't get hurt because of the armor he would still get stressed and transform into the hulk. So what's the point of the armor? It's not something that the Hulk would want to wear expecially since it enders his movement. It's not illogical for Superman to wear the armor because a normal piece of wear would rip apart quickly in a battle but the Hulk doesn't care about clothes. It even makes sence for Wolverine because he still feels a lot of pain with the healing factor (same excuse goes for Logan to have a gun even though i don't want him to have it) but the Hulk gets so much adrenaline he doesn't feel the pain so I don't see any reason for him to have weapons or an armor.

Iron Man, Iron Man,
Does whatever Tony can't.
Shoots a blast, any size,
Catches Trevor's just like flies.
Look out! Here comes the Iron Man.
Is he strong? Listen bud—
He's got Tiger's Blood.
Can he fly from a thread?
Take a look overhead.
Hey there! There goes the Iron Man.
Alcoholic by the night,
At the bar all the time,
Like a streak of light,
He arrives just in time!
Iron Man, Iron Man,
Super snob Iron Man.
Wealth and fame, not - to - be - ignored —
Applause is - his reward.
To him,
Life is a great big bang-up—
Wherever there's a hang-up,
You'll find the Iron Man!

Its just a cover, The hulk won't use any guns. How many times have you seen a cover where the hero is dead but doesnt actually die inside the comic. This cover probably was designed months before the story was written. Thats the reason why the cover artist and actual artist are usually different.

What WruceBayne said.
It's thematic. Hulk and Iron Man are made to look like soldiers, and I'm certain that their influence here will be very much opposed to that area. Scientists vs Soldiers.

It is a crappy cover though.

It was funny last issue how Tony, Hank & Reed all finished 3 separate projects before Banner was able to finish the same ones.

Sad that kid is getting killed off though.

telacizion@ we don't know that yet tho, Jessup might still stick around, my theory is that he'll get dosed with the inhuman mist.

You guys cover the most random comic news. Get someone to do it full time, or just leave it to the other sites.

Love the art. Looks like a decent stand alone story so far. I wish marvel would put more emphasis on the monthly title and less on the Annuals.

Still not crazy about the Hulk's armor or the black Iron Man armor, but hey at least they're trying something different.

Comic Book Fact: The cover art rarely tells us anything about the contents of the books.

Makes sense for Hulk to have armor. If he transforms back to Banner mid-battle, he's vulnerable without protection. The Iron Man armor has a point too. We know From Now-Point-One and the Cable mini that someone wearing that armor turns evil and uses it to take over the government and attack mutants... (coughArnoStarkcough)

Hulk used guns and armor all through the 90s too. Peter David's run.
