I know right? I like Miles and his in the Ultimate universe but tossing out Parker in each???? Im not liking that. I really don't want Miguel O'Hara, he just never grew on me. The claws were cool but after the first few issues I dropped it.

I think this confirms that Peter Parker is still Spider-Man. Dan Slott said "Age of Ultron" takes places BEFORE issue #700, but it clearly takes place SIX issues into Superior Spider-Man. The "Age of Ultron" art we've seen featuring Peter was clearly AFTER Ultron's takeover, so I don't think you could argue that THAT was from before issue #700...

I like how the tears in his costume make it look like a shredded cape. I don't know if that's intentional, something anyone else sees besides me, and/or if I'm just seeing what I want to see... but I like it.

You're all wrong. The new Spidey is Peter Parker Sr. Eat it! Anyways, I sure hope that during this Age of Ultron business we see what the other villains are doing. Cause I hardly think you'd see Doom, Magneto, Red Skull, Apocalypse, etc etc. go "Yeah, okay. His turn to run things."

2012 hasn't really been Spidey's year. First was that shitty Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon(I HEARD it got better but I'm still not going to check it out), then he had an ok movie tie-in game to an ok movie and now this...smdh

i remember when tie in used to actually be tie in that affected the canon. They weren't just side stories from the main canon!Sometimes i'm just like when did this happen, or did this story not even happen at all!

Hmmm so from other preview art from the main AU series we've seen Peter in his regular Spidey outfit...

And now we see this...what does this mean?

Potentially that Peter survives #700 of amazing but retires from permanent Spidey duty...meaning he'll step in when he needs to and is still an active Avenger...leaving the street level stuff to Superior?

I find it funny that people here think that Peter Parker will no longer be spiderman. Really think about it people you think Marvel with a new Spiderman movie coming out ( I know its still Sony but the increased sales the movie will potentially generate) that they will not have the main character from the movie still active in the comics. If this is in fact not peter parker than it sure will be by the time TASM 2 is coming out. But feel free to act like a bunch of whining babies about the injustice it is. lol
