Goddamn, I hate Fraction. He somehow managed to make Galactus attacking Asgard boring.

So, if Thor dies, he goes to Heaven, right? And Asgard is basically heaven for he and his kin and all that, right? And Thor is from Asgard and seemingly has no problem going back and forth between Asgard and Earth on a normal day, right? So if Thor dies on Earth, boom, back in Asgard, where he stands up and says, "Well, better get back down to Earth, I just died and it looked like they still needed my help." So, when he arrives back on Earth two minutes after having just died, ALL villians ever in Marvel continuity collectively give up because there's no way in hell they're ever going to beat an immortal Thor, canceling the Marvel universe all together. If your heroes can't die, why is it interesting to read about them month in and month out? What are they risking? Nothing.

@imnotwearinghockeypants when Thor dies he goes to Valhalla, the Norse afterlife.

Cool to see that he doesnt die, although I wonder why they'll be having a new God of Thunder? Maybe Thor gets a promotion from Odin or something?

And... is Iron Man's armour torn? Like, his armour, made of metal, is torn and blowing in the wind like cloth... Anyone care to explain?

Why do they need 6 superheroes to carry Thor? Cap can lift up to 1200 lbs and Thor is like 640 lbs.

i hate how they have to give the characters their movie costumes or the ultimates version. just keep it separated from the 616.

Could be that a group is carrying Thor for a couple of reasons: Respect, one. Collective frenzy to want to rescue fallen brother at arms. Lastly, perhaps the fact that Mjolnir is still attached to his wrist, actually requires the amount of strength supporting him?

Tanarus is the Celtic God of Thunder. He is not an Asgardian.
