What would you do to save a fallen friend? This November, in the wake of Battle of the Atom, Wolverine must assemble the X-Men’s finest to attempt a daring rescue in Amazing X-Men #1, a swashbuckling new series from red hot writer Jason Aaron and blockbuster artist Ed McGuinness!

The X-Men are through mourning the loss of Nightcrawler, the “heart and soul” of their family – it’s time to act! Wolverine must lead Storm, Beast, Ice Man and more on an epic journey to recover one of their greatest allies – in a story that’s been building since Wolverine and the X-Men #1!

Deadly foes! Swashbuckling adventures! Plenty of little blue Bamfs! How far will the Amazing X-Men go to rescue one of their own? And what price will they pay? Find out just how far this November when Nightcrawler returns in Amazing X-Men #1!

Never liked any X-Men except for Nightcrawler and Wolverine. Death is not death when you're Jesus or in the comics.

no keep him dead please. I have never really been a fan of his put the way he went out was bad ass. Bringing him back would be a big mistake and cheapen his death.

I always thought Nightcrawler would be such an easy character to bring back. Ya know, with Azazel being his father and all. Or is it confirmed that Azazel isn't really a demon?

Right, ANUMUS84 - McGuinness IS the man

JoeMomma29 - who did the second Taskmaster artwork? It almost looks like a Jim Lee, but I've never known of him drawing TM for production.

I've followed a bit of the X-Men (and other Marvel titles) since Marvel NOW!, but I don't understand how much history they're holding on to with a complete universe reboot. I was under the impression they could get around Nightcrawler's death by ignoring that ever happened before NOW!

Ed McGuinness' work has improved drastically over the past couple years. I never liked his work before. I felt everyday character looked the same. His Hulk could have been his Superman as well. But he's really scaled down the cartooniness and exaggeration. I like everything I've seen him do lately.

Looking forward to this. Hardly anybody stays dead in the Marvel Universe, so I'm happy that Kurt is coming back. Great classic line-up for this team.
