That was "erased" remember? I believe that was they storyline before OMD.

Hmmmm if everyone finds out that Peter is Spider-Man, maybe #700 will end in Peter allowing it to look like he has been killed, and either go Spidey full time, or under a different name. So "Peter Parker" wouldn't be Spider-Man, but it would still be the same person. Thoughts?

I honestly hope that is the case. I don't like the idea of a new person under the mask.

And I hope the new Hobgoblin sticks around. I think he's more interesting than the original. The first Hobgoblin just seems like a cheap ripoff of Osborne. I like that the new Hobgoblin is going his own way with the legacy.

K it's been a while so someone help me out....

Mephisto saved Aunt May in return for their marriage right? and Strange erased everyone's knowledge of his identity right?

After the Mephisto thing they just woke up not married, but still knowing each other, just small things had happened leading MJ to leave Peter over the Spider-Man stress, cause she still knows how he is cause Peter pulled her in the "keep my memory" bubble that Strange made when he was working his magic?

That sounds ridiculous, but that's what happened right?

@Splenda- It certainly does. A character "revitalized" for the next 20 to 30 years gets replaced five years later. You can't get any more pointless than that.

You know, if Mephisto could wipe out the memory of Peter revealing his identity from the entire world, why didn't he do this before? He can alter reality into his view. He can erase moments from time and make events so they never happened. Why did he wait until OMD to do this? Why hasn't he done it since then?

It will not be peter under the mask, that's confirmed. But also look at the art for the new spider-man book.

Look at his hands and feet, they're animalistic or something, because it's probably going to be another Jackal clone type thing because he aid something like 'this was the beginning'.
