I like it. but unless they're going to finish Joss's run they shouldn't do this. 'Dangerous' doesn't have any sense of closure to it.

I have a 8yo so I find these use full. His reading level isn't up to that of many comic books as of yet so this allows us to enjoy them together. Being that reading a comic book to someone is not enjoyable at all.

I dunno about anyone else on here, but I personally hate motion comics, I either want to read a comic or I want to watch a movie...not both at the same time, it looks dumb

Nomis: My sentiments exactly. I remember when these books came out. Between Whedon's interesting stories and Cassaday's phenomenal art, Astonishing quickly became my favorite X-book.

I do wish they do actual animation films like D.C. they did a fairly great job with Dr. Strange, Ironman, The Ultimate Avenvers 1/2, and the Next Avengers. Those were really cool.

I always thought Whedons run was a bit overrated. I loved Gifted but the other arcs I found to be meh.

Heh, I remember reading Whedon and Cassaday's run on Astonishing X-Men (including this one), and I still love it until now. But, that looks pretty...bad, indeed.

Motion comics are alright, but reading the actual comic is a better experience in my mind. I'd love to see Whedon's run get a true animated feature, though.

Watched the first season on Netflix.
Honestly, even though it's a motion comic, it wasn't that bad. The episodes were a little over 10 minutes long so it was easy to squeeze in an episode or two if I didn't have much time.

I enjoyed the motion comics just because it was something different. also, I beleive these first aired as web series and the demand from the masses made them release it on DVD. If anybody saw the Spiderwoman episodes, those were my favorite! you can find them on Netflix instant que (plug, pay me). I will like to see the dangerous, only one's I haven't seen yet.

Yet another reminder why Whedon was a great choice for the Avengers. Take that Whedon haters.

Gusto you probably didn't take your meds and forgot that you watched them lol. Seriously, why didn't you like them?

I don't love the motion comic concept as much as full animation, but it is just a devlivery system for the story and the dialogue so I'll take it if that's all there is. It is like reading the comics with sound effects and voices, kinda cool imo.

@SpiderFan35-No one is hating on Josh Whedon. Many people hate motion comics. Who wants to pay over 20 dollars to see a still cut out, with it's mouth moving and added sound effects.

In my opinion, Marvel would like to put out an animation movie based on a comic. But I think Marvel does not want to copy DC.

@Action: I wasn't referring to anyone on this thread, I meant the people who have been Whedon-bashing since the Avengers frenzy first started, saying he has never done big movies and his work is all cult-status and only TV etc.

So I meant that this is a great reminder of his experience with actual comics and goes to show that he must be doing something right if they are continuing with this series.

But I know what you mean about the motion comics, they are ok but not if you are spending lotsa money for them.
