Stop wasting time with deaths. No one is falling for it. Just critically injure someone, like Ms. Marvel in the 90's X-Men cartoon series, and have them admitted into the hospital for an indeterminate amount of time. That way, when they come back, it won't be so far fetched.

@IM, I'm with a lot of people when I say Wolverine should be the one to do it.

It'd be awesome to read and watch that.

I don't care who dies, as long as they don't revert Beast back to his old form, I love the feline form, it just looks so much cooler, and I know I'm gonna get hate and I'm gonna get people telling me I clearly haven't read the comics long enough or whatever, but X-Men was a large part of my childhood, and Beast became a lot better for me when he became feline, before he kinda looked like a blue Wolverine, with the horned hair and the mutton chops, just didn't do it for me.

all new x-men is really good,i loved how they took a panel from the 60s issue & brought into all new x-men 1.not sure which x-man will die but it would definitely f*ck up the timeline if they send the x-men back.

love the x-men,the reason i'm a comic fan today.started reading my dads early claremont issues, first comic i brought was uncanny x-men 205.

Even though this is off topic, there is a reason why The Walking Dead is one of the few comics I buy monthly. When a character dies, they stay dead forever.

Death hardly matters in comics anymore. Nobody rests in peace forever. How long did Bucky stay dead after Fear Itself?

Comic deaths r starting to piss me off... They always come back for some bs reason. I liked dcs blackest night where they came back basically as zombies and the few characters to be fully ressurected had a goal to complete to keep life... But most ressurections are lame and instant. How long was human torch deceased for?
BANEofExistence
BANEofExistence - 11/30/2012, 4:48 PM
Buckys died twice and as stated above, he was resurrected like a month after fear itself... I do feel some are necessary though (Jason Todd's resurrection for example was a really good thing!)

@ jamesasalways

Im with you man. I love Beast's feline form too.

@everyone else

You know why no one is going to kill off Cyclops? Because writers love writing him. Love him or hate him, he's one of the most complex characters in Marvel, and he's had almost as many tragedies happen to him as Spider-Man or Daredevil. He's a very rich character and has a lot that writers can play off of.

I remember Newsarama did a story a few years back about the x-men and they asked a lot of writers from the who their favorite x-man to write was, and almost all of them said Cyclops. For the exact reason i just said. So im not just pulling that out of my ass.

Bendis killing a character...shocker.lol

Now how is he going to sneak Luke Cage on one of the X-teams? Because Bendis loves him some Luke Cage...

Had my doubts about this, but I had to check it out if only for Immonen's art work. The book is pretty awesome so far. I'm a fan. Maybe that feeling will change after I've seen the story unfold. But until then, I'm on board.

Being a child of the 70s and 80s, that's the Beast look I prefer. I've never liked this Cowardly Lion-looking silliness he has now.
SolidSnake007
SolidSnake007 - 11/30/2012, 7:26 PM
I hope it's Wolverine. No seriously I do. Overused to the point of ridiculousness, won't matter since they are just going to reboot everything anyways. It would be a "shocker" and out of left field. Cyke should be the one to do it. Turn this Cyke into the new Magneto for the younger generation. Cyke and Magneto's Brotherhood of mutants. Old vs. New. at least it would be something different for a change.

Look Bendis, I'm excited for you being on All New X-Men & Uncanny X-Men but STOP killing off people(because we all know they will come back).

Also, what @corndogburglar said is true, Cyclops really is a complex character. I really liked his character since Astonishing X-Men & House Of M.

Wolverine's death would be the only one to have any gravity to it. It should be Wolvie.

Wolverine won't die, he's the lead/title in like 3 different comics under Marvel NOW.

As for Beast's new(ish) look, I actually kind of prefer it too, if only because I saw him as just an overweight blue version of Wolverine when I was younger.

I love Bendis's style of writing but I hate that he feels the only way to gain any kind of emotional relevance in a comic is to kill a character off. It's a cheap tactic for a writer who can't see the pain that could go on in someone's life other than through the death of another character.
Durango95
Durango95 - 12/1/2012, 8:43 PM
I hate Bendis. What a [frick]tard. I wish for once they would kill someone and they would stay dead. I stopped reading comics altogether cos its gotten so stupid.
