POLL: Which Movie From MARVEL's Phase Three Announcement Are You Most Excited For?
Black Panther, Captain Marvel, The Inhumans, and an epic two-part Avengers adventure were among the movies announced by Marvel Studios today, but which of them are you most looking forward to based on what we know so far? Well, here's your chance to decide...
It's been one hell of a day for Marvel news with the Captain America 3 title reveal and Doctor Strange release date, an announcement of their full slate, a first look at Thanos wielding the Infinity Gauntlet in the two-part Avengers movie and Black Panther casting news and concept art. Most of us expected just a couple of reveals or maybe some new footage from the Marvel Event, but to have their full slate laid out in front of us right up until 2019 is pretty damn exciting!
There were a few surprises and some we all expected, but that made the announcements no less thrilling...Spider-Man not being revealed as part of the MCU disappointed many though!
Some of the movies announced don't have writers, directors or actors attached as of yet, while we can guess a lot about some just based on their titles alone! This slate certainly gives Warner Bros. a run for their money, especially as it too puts the spotlight on non-white and non-male leads in the likes of Black Panther and Captain Marvel. Let's not turn this into Marvel vs. DC though; the fact is that it's a great time to be a comic book fan with almost countless adaptations heading our way over the next six years or so. When you look back to the days of one or two releases a year, it makes it hard to believe the best we used to get was the likes of Fantastic Four and Elektra!
We haven't included Ant-Man here (even though it's the first movie in Phase 3) because we want to focus on those which were announced today! So, cast you vote and then sound off with your thoughts on which of the movies you're most excited about in the comments section below...
