Review: Uncanny X-Men #23-The Last Will and Testament of Charles Xavier

Review: Uncanny X-Men #23-The Last Will and Testament of Charles Xavier

Uncanny X-Men #23 was a near flawless Original Sin tie-in that contained the right amount of character development and plot movement, still managing to entertain readers despite being light on action.

What I Liked

Strong emphasis on character building and development

Suspenseful keeping the contents of the will secret

Like the added drama and tension of Scott needing to be present

Great introduction to Matthew, who could be the reincarnation of Prof. X

Tackles deep subject matter like suicide or cutting with Dazzler

Very character driven

What I Didn’t Like

The art was good, but inconsistent

Not a whole lot of action, but a VERY minor gripe for a VERY strong issue

Overall: 9 out of 10
