Doom probably killed more Americans than Al Queda did.
The fact that he's crying is absolutely ridiculous.

@Bucht even if it's true (and i doubt it), you just can't get the sense of it, uh?
i'll help you, it's written on the side of the frame:"even the worst of us, however scarred, are still human"
BTW that was a wonderful comic book, really, really emotional and absolutely not stupid.

yea i dont think they shouldve used doom either. i could see norman osbourn, utau, or venom crying. really cant see someone who is basically their universe bin laden crying. but it still a great comic

And even if it was a metaphor, it would have made as much sense if they used Hitler or Kim Jong Il.

I guess I'll stop here since it's obviously still a touchy subject for some.

9/11 is one of those things that I don't have any words for. What happened is too terrible to express with words really.

Show some respect guys, please. The amount of grief this caused people and still causes people is unbearable.

Today will always make me tear up regardless. Today frustrates me, saddens me but also makes me proud that our nation grew stronger together after the events. Good did come from it and Hate will not prevail.

The towers were the prominent symbol of America. Rebuilding them would only make us stronger as a nation and show the terrorists that they make knock us down but we will get back up. Rebuilding them would be a big "[frick] you" to the terrorists.

@youngblood- what i am saying is it doesnt make sense to use a mass murderer and evil dictator such as doom to show sympathy to such an evil event in which a character like him commits on a weekly bases. it wouldve made more sense to use a less evil character.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 9/11/2012, 2:37 PM
I am not saying rebuild the world trade centers in the same spot as the old ones were. I am saying next to it. Make them stronger. So many people are supporting this idea, even Donald Trump. People who have lost family and friends also what this. The towers were a symbol and many people miss seeing them standing proud.

This is the official model of the idea.

All I have to say to those who have lost their lives during that horrific event is R.I.P. And to all the heroes that risked their lives that day to save others, God bless you all. Peace.

My friends, stay EPIC.

I never read the comics dedicated to honoring the fallen on 9/11. Yes, the images are touching, but it all seemed inappropriate to me... each picture makes me think "Where were you when we needed you?" The reality that supermen, mutants, and gods can't save us from ourselves hit home that day.

Real heroes, our neighbors who serve to protect our lives and property from more common mundane threats, died that day, victims of their dedication to us in the face of unspeakable evil.

Many have forgotten, many more want to, but we must never forget; our enemy lives, getting stronger, daring us even on this day to stand united against them. We cannot pacify them, we cannot make treaty with them, they are dedicated to our destruction, and they must not win.

did not get to see the disrespectfull comments and am happy for that, thanks for removing them, and I must agree 100% with some of the above comments. Show respect.

this was a tradgedy that is never open to joking or redicule. if you find something amusing about 9/11 or feel the urge to be disrespectfull then do us a favor, take yourself out of the genepool.

Thanks to the machinations set in place by George W and despite a weak and apologetic president Obama, we have brought the masterminds of this infamous terrible tragedy to justice.

I also saw this article a little late and thankfully have been spared from the depravity I might have seen.

It's very nice that blvdnoise took the time to put this article together. We should all take the time to remember the lives lost and affected by that day.

But I would like to come to the defense of the few who mentioned their problems with Dr Doom's inclusion...They are right, he should not have been there. It was ham-fisted and took away from the credibility and reverence of what they were trying to do. Furthermore, it has been eleven years now and as this is a comicbookmovie website, people should be allowed, without persecution, to voice their opinions about something in a comic book, even one of such gravity, as long as it is voiced with respect.

You know the early post in this article are pissing me off. You people don't know what it's like to have someone taken away from you or you're life cut short because a stupid ass bitch and an armed [frick] decided to jump on a killing spree again and jack a plane. Imagine if you were on that airplane and died, you'd really want people to make jokes about you're death?

I chose to defriend a particular (well-known) comics professional on Facebook today, after this person's decision to post a "Happy 9/11 Day" photo on his page. To me, such a thing goes beyond the boundaries of political speech, and LIVES in the realm of bad taste and evil intent.
