After last night's episode “Saints Of Last Resorts” Constantine has seen it's best ratings since November 21. With a rating of 1.0/3 the Friday night show saw an increase of 25% among adults 18-49 from last week’s low. While the series future is still uncertain it is currently set to return early next year to see the remaining 5-episodes of its 13-episode run.

Based on the wildly popular comic book series "Hellblazer" from DC Comics, seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine (Matt Ryan, "Criminal Minds") is armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and a wickedly naughty wit. He fights the good fight - or at least he did. With his soul already damned to hell, he's decided to abandon his campaign against evil until a series of events thrusts him back into the fray, and he'll do whatever it takes to protect the innocent. With the balance of good and evil on the line‎, Constantine will use his skills to travel the country, find the supernatural terrors that threaten our world and send them back where they belong. After that, who knows... maybe there's hope for him and his soul after all.

This is my favorite DC show, The Flash close second, Constantine is fantastic. I still can't understand some fanatics of the CWverse trying to shit in everything it's not connected to that, just pathetic.

I just decided to watch all the episodes, I'm now at episode 7 and it has been pretty fine so far. Maybe a bit boring around episode 3-4 but it got better. Two more to go...

I really hope this keeps going, enjoying it quite a bit. However, as far as I'm aware, NBC do have a bit of a reputation for cancelling things prematurely...

And besides, the shorter season may be a blessing in disguise - no need for filler, every episode becomes relevant.
