Showblitz reports that after sitting out last year's San Diego Comic-Con, both Marvel and Warner Bros. are bringing the big guns to the event this July. A first look at footage from
Iron Man 3 is "firmly expected" according to the site, while a three hour block has been reserved by Warner Bros. on the Saturday for a presentation which is expected to include
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the debut of footage from Zack Snyder's
Man of Steel. Don't expect a last minute showing from
The Dark Knight Rises though!
It's also thought that Legendary Pictures will be bringing
Pacific Rim, while Sony will more than likely be taking this opportunity to give the
Total Recall remake a push before its release in August. As for Universal's
R.I.P.D., it isn't yet confirmed whether or not they'll be bringing the Ryan Reynolds/Jeff Bridges comic book adaptation to the event ahead of its release next June. The same applies for
The Bourne Legacy. Things are pretty quiet when it comes to Paramount too as the studio haven't decided whether they will be showing off anything from
G.I. Joe: Retaliation,
World War Z,
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters,
Jack Reacher and
Star Trek 2.
Meanwhile,
Twilight will be back for its annual Hall H presentation and Disney look set to offer up sneak peeks of
Wreck-It Ralph,
Oz: The Great and Powerful and possibly
The Lone Ranger.
Robopocalypse won't be there and neither will 20th Century Fox, marking their first absence from the show since 2007. For more, be sure to click on the link below.
