BTW...when I asked Poison Ivy if she would mind if I posted this photo of her on the Internet, she said:

"Sure, it will be one of the only pictures of me with my clothes on."

To realfirstavenger, the two guys in the gasmasks are Helghast soldiers from Killzone 2.

Thanks, everyone!

Tyler...bummer about the lack of shows up in the Great White North!

Grif/Tyler...yeah, there were at least five Rorschachs running around the Con, which is why there are no pics here: the costume was already played out.

Montross/VonStallin...thanks for the info. about those Killzone dudz! I couldn't put my finger on it, either. They were huge, both at least 6'2", and they had every piece of gear correct. I snapped this shot while they were standing in line to get coffee!

I took a ton of other pics that just didn't work out because the lighting was bad, they were blurry or because some nerd walked into frame!

Thanks for all of your comments!

MOI...Cyborg was totally not into it. On the other hand, the Robin dude has a future in comedy. He was really outgoing and cracking jokes. Give him a couple years and he could be the next Jim Carrey.

To dispel the rumors that all comic fans would rather fondle their action figures than a real girl...I saw two dudes at a, ahem, gentleman's club a few blocks from the Con wearing--no joke--a Red Lantern t-shirt and a Black Lantern t-shirt!

I had my Green Lantern t-shirt on, so, of course, we had to fight...

Yo, there is a funny picture going around on the 'net of like 15 people dressed up as Watchmen characters in a groupshot at wondercon...there's like 3 or 4 Rorschach's, & the dude dressed up as Nite Owl is a "big" guy...it's hilarious.

bsprecher
bsprecher - 3/2/2009, 5:21 PM
There were dozens of stormtroopers, clone troopers and assorted 501st crew on the 2nd floor Mezz. I don't know why they were up there, but that's where they seemed to be hanging out. It was restricted access; I couldn't even get in there with my Press Pass.

Oh, yeah, there was also a full-size, fully-automated R2-D2 cruising around up there. I got one pic of it, but it turned out fuzzy, so I didn't post it. It was freaking out all of these little kids...hilarious!
Bijous
Bijous - 3/3/2009, 7:32 PM
I saw those R2s! There was one with a fully-enclosed case and another with its guts showing. I don't know if they were selling them or what the deal was.

I saw a reaaaally cute girl in the infamous Leia costume, as well ;P
