SDCC '14: AGENT CARTER Meets AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Banner Revealed
A limited edition Comic-Con poster depicting two very different generations of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been unveiled. On one side we have Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., returning for its second season, and on the other we have the upcoming Marvel's Agent Carter, starring Hayley Atwell. Check it out!
TV Guide just released the first look at a limited edition poster that will be available at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. meets Agent Carter' poster depicts two very different generations of the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division, better known as S.H.I.E.L.D. On one side you have Clark Gregg's Phil Coulson, backed by his team, and on the other you have Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter, one of the founding members of S.H.I.E.L.D., standing alone. This may mean something as to which direction Agent Carter may go when it premieres or it may just mean that Atwell's supporting cast has yet to be cast.
Anyways, it's still a pretty cool piece. The poster was designed by artist Matt Ferguson and will be available at SDCC free of charge. Be sure to pick it up if you attend!
It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark.
Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward, highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May, expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz, brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons, genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker, Skye.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns September 23.
Agent Carter premieres January 2015.
