RATCHET AND CLANK Actress Bella Thorne Says She Wants To Play A Female Version Of DEADPOOL

The multi-talented young star has set her sights on playing a "badass Marvel character", and name-checks a female take on the Merc With A Mouth specifically. Have we found our Ladypool?...

Comic book movies continue to bust blocks left right and centre, so it's not surprising that many up-and-coming young stars would want a piece of the action. The latest to express interest is actress/singer/model Bella Thorne (Blended, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, the Scream TV series), who had the following to say during an interview with Moviefone.

“I’d be so down to play like a badass Marvel character. Any type of badass female in live-action, like Cora is in this movie [Ratchet And Clank]. I also like playing roles that are very rebellious and real. So it’s good when you really show teenagers for how they actually act and how they actually talk. Honestly, if I could just play a female version of ‘Deadpool’ – any character that’s a female version of ‘Deadpool’ – I’m so down!”

Thorne is obviously a fan of the awesome Ryan Reynolds hit, but she may not be aware that there actually is a female incarnation of Deadpool already: Earth-3010's Wanda Wilson, AKA Ladypool.

It's not very likley that plans are in place to introduce this character any time soon of course - but the Deadpool movie-verse is just crazy enough for something like that to work, so you never know.

Any desire to see Ladypool up on the big screen? Do you like Thorne for the role? Sound off below.
