Pixar has released another new clip for
Toy Story 4, introducing us to Gabby Gabby and her good friend Vincent. Gabby serves as the main antagonist of the upcoming film, and is voiced by Christina Hendricks (
Mad Men).
According to her brief description, Gabby Gabby
"was an old vintage doll from the 1950s, but her voice box deteriorated overtime and she grew bitter toward never being adopted by any kids, so she grew resentful toward other toys and took control of the dummies in the shop."
As you can see briefly in the clip below, the doll takes particular notice of Woody's pull string which, of course, activates his voice box.
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
Disney has recently started ramping up production for
Toy Story 4 ahead of its release this month. The "Gabby Gabby" clip comes on the heels of
four recently released TV spot and another clip that spotlights Bunny and Ducky, two stuffed animals (voiced by voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, respectively) who have been stuck on the prize wall for a carnival game.
Toy Story 4 arrives in theaters on June 21.
