John Carter vs Mera.John is a basic level brawler with minimum training and super strength while Mera is a trained fighter with super strength and magic.

Batman vs Ironman.Pointles battle it just starts a meaningless argument between his zealots and those that hate him.Like the most over used terms in this argument Stark is smarter.False.While Stark can create anything better then Wayne he is not smarter then him.How can this be one might ask.Well there are different kinds of smart.Batman is a detective if both are giving clues Batman would figure it out way before Ironman.Just like if they both had to build something amazing Ironman would build the more amazing device.They are geniuses but in different fields.On the subject of who has the better tech the answer is neither.They are both advance for their set missions.Batman doesn't need a fancy suit of armor he needs to be fast and stealthy.His mission is to fight crime in Gotham as an urban myth.While Stark's missions is to protect the world from technology gone wrong and the only way to fight tech is with tech.In short Batman uses tech to enhance the skills he all ready have while Ironman uses tech to give him abilities he other wise would not have.In a regular fight it would favor Ironman but in a fight with prep time and full knowlegde it's more likely favors Batman.No one studies their freinds and foes weaknesses like Batman.He is insanely paranoid IF there is a weakness to be found he will FIND it.After all finding a weakness in something is a form of detective work and no one is a greater detective in comics then Batman.Hence the title WORLD'S GREATEST DETECTIVE.

Note:While Batman is my favorite hero doesn't mean he can win every fight he's in.That's why he's my favorite nothing ever easy for him.

Just because he finds a weakness doesn't mean it can be applied in battlr easily or in a one on one fight scenerio.

Batman was a far better character when he was written as a mere vulnerable mortal as Kane and Finger intended. That's one of the things which made him great. Being the 'WORLD'S GREATEST DETECTIVE' ain't no better than being Harry Crumb in fight club.

Don't get me wrong guys Bats only has a 1% chance in winning this fight.It's just the weird thing I hear on this site like Cap beating Stark despite having a worst tech then Batman.Yet no one seem to call this BS.Well not as much as the Batman and Deathstroke stuff aleast.Like Cap's fight with Booster Gold.Cap had the same disadvantage that Batman has here but even worst.

Physically superior to Batman by 200lbs.I find it hard to believe that Cap who lifts 1200lbs can beat Ironman who can lift 100 tons.His blows even when added to the shield would have no effect on the Ironman armor.Even if he is able to memorize his foes*laughing really hard* moves.He is at best Batman on steroids with an oversize frisbee for a weapon.Cap beating Ironman is right up there with Batman beating Superman only likely in rare circumstances.To put it simply IT'A NOT THE RULE IT'S THE EXCEPTION.

Unknown, dude, no offense intended at all, but you're way off. Cap beating someone like Iron Man is not a fluke or an exception; it's the norm. He's been like that pretty much since his re-awakening in the 60s. And it's not a matter of just strength, it's a matter of precision, experience and half a dozen other advantages Cap has over pretty much everyone he faces.

A regular blow from Cap can shatter bone; if he really puts his all into it, he can dent steel -- and that's just with his fists. He's destroyed Iron Man's armor with precision blows from his shield -- again, not just once or twice, he's accomplished such feats many, many times. He's knocked the wind out of Spider-Man with the tip of his fingers, he's fist-fought and knocked unconscious The Wrecker (who can press 40 tons) and the list goes on and on and on. It'd be one thing if these accomplishments were rarities and plot devices, but these are very typical of Cap's abilities.

And you continue to ignore the fact that Batman is HUMAN, completely and unenhanced. His brain doesn't work as efficiently as Cap's, he can't calculate dozens upon dozens of outcomes to possible strategies at the drop of a hat, his brain doesn't signal his muscles to react as quickly as Cap's does, his muscle memory isn't as pin-point accurate. Argue all you want that there's no difference between the two, but the fact will never change that you will always be wrong about that. I'm not trying to be a dick, but jeez, dude, how many times do you need it explained to you?

No offense dude but for someone who claims to look on the logical side of thing how can you believe that a man who can lift 1200 lbs damage Ironman's armor and knock out Spiderman with his fingers(come on really that is bull).Ironman's armor has survive way worst then then Cap hitting it with his shield.Even if he found the weak spot he couldn't hit it with enough force to break it enhanced or not.Cap doing these thing are plot devices.Even if he does them regularly does not change that fact.

Look I get it you're a Captain America fanboy but there is no way an enhance human take any body stronger and faster then him with only his shield,wits,and agility.He can't dodge every hit and he has been beaten in hand to hand. After all he's only a peek human and barely qualify as a super human.

Just to give my two cents about the matter, I agree with LoudLon that Cap >>> Bats, but I agree with Unknownfacts that I don't really think that Cap can take anyone above Spider-Man/Wolverine level without it being a rare occurrence or a plot device. And Cap isn't Batman with a steroid, his fighting experience outweighs Batman's a WIDE margin. Cap is also much more noble and heroic.

If we actually wanna compare tactician skills, then let's look at what they can accomplish.

Batman + battle strategy=beating 7 or 8 thugs but still struggling to do it.

Captain America + battle strategy=taking out entire armies of well armed, well trained soldiers. Not easily, but not really that hard either.
