Darth Vader vs Thor.

Thor wins.Siths are extremely powerful but I'm pretty sure neither the light saber or his force powers are useful on Thor.

He-man vs Hulk

Hulk wins. This would be one hell of a battle but like all of Hulk's foes he let him get to strong to handle.

Bulleyes vs Judge Dredd

Bulleyewin.He shoot first.

Dredd win.He shoots first.

1. I voted for Thor-If Vader force lifts him, Thor hits him with lightning. Same way with choking, one hit from the hammer would knock Vader out cold. I think Thor vs Darth Sidious is a better Star Wars vs Marvel match up.

2. I voted for Hulk-He-Man's crazy strong, but I don't think he's quite at Hulk's level. Plus, Hulk's strength will grow as the fight progresses.

3. I voted for Judge Dredd-As Facts already pointed out, this is whoever shoots first. So I pick Dredd because he's a good guy and Bullseye isn't.

As usual I comment on previous battles, Blade wouldnt beat He-Man he's just too strong. And Batman wouldnt beat Whiplash, the comic version of Whiplash could hang against Spidey and Iron Man for long periods of time. I figure Batman would fall short against him, and a hard punch is needed to lock the suit up but Batman isn't very strong and I don't think he'd be able to punch quite hard enough.

I'm with some underdogs today

#1: Vader can deflect Thor's lightning with his light saber as seen in the prequels regarding force lightning. Yoda did not even need his saber but could handle the lightnings bare handed. Vader can dodge laser gun fire, so I don't think Mjölnir would hit him plus his lightsaber could cut/break Mjölnir. Thor would have to go on a hand to hand fight with Vader. Of course Thor is way stronger than Vader and one mighty punch could finish Vader, but again Vader (as Qui-Gon said) can see things before they happen that's why he seems to have such reflexes. So Vader could dodge a punch a slice Thor like Obi-Wan did to Darth Maul.
#2 He-Man is not just a very strong guy but a real powerhouse. In one episode of the original animated series he lifted a whole castle and placed it somewhere else. His limits haven't been explored yet. Plus he has a magical sword and is not a mindless monster but has come up with some very clever ideas to beat his opponents. I think he stands more of a chance than many people might think.
#3 It could get either way depending on who shots/throws/attacks first. But I think the lawgiver might give Dredd the edge, at the very least according to range, so I'm leaning towards him.

Jedi's are cool, but they really are nothing special compared to DC/Marvel's stable of characters. Facing one of marvels more powerful icons this is a no contest in my eyes.

I can only go by what I've seen on television, but nothing from that gives me the impression that HE MAN is anywhere near the Hulk's power level. Yes, I have seen him with a bolder, but the Hulk as lifted in entire mountain.

Never read Judge Dredd, but I am familiar with him. After watching the movie I would say the judge is more than capable of dealing with the initial damage from Bullseye, but I cannot say the same for the latter. Wounded Judge Dredd takes out bullseye with his choice of bullet.

At first I was thinking "the all father" all the way, but then Galacticus made me pause. The only thing giving me pause is how impotent the all father was against the celestials. I'm not sure how Galacticus stacks up with them, but the fact that he does seem to sit as an equal with the abstracts tilts things in his favor. So I'll say Galacticus and listen if anyone has a better argument.

Spidey - the Dredd movie featured the character MUCH closer to the original comics than Stallone's Dredd. He still wasn't spot-on, but I'm not complaining; I enjoyed the Dredd flick quite a bit.

At any rate, skipping the first two fights and going straight to Bullseye vs Dredd: I'd give it to Bullseye. Dredd's tough, but without his gun he doesn't bring a lot to the table. Bullseye, on the other hand, brings a whole buffet: unerring accuracy, agility, fighting skills good enough to enable him to hang against Daredevil, plus he can kill just as easily with a playing card as he can a gun. Dredd would absolutely have to get the first shot off and he absolutely could not miss, but since neither is a guarantee, the odds are heavily against him. Bullseye for the kill.

For some reason I cannot post these pics in the He-Man vs Hulk section, hence here.

My point is, if He-Man can go toe to toe with Superman he has a pretty good chance against Hulk, too.
LoudLon
LoudLon - 1/30/2013, 11:37 AM
No offense, Anung, but it always cracks me up when people use that pic of Supes and Hulk from that cross-over. That was a raging Hulk, and he couldn't even make Supes budge. Jump ahead twenty years to Marvel vs DC and Hulk is sending Supes flying with one punch -- and that was SMART Hulk.

Just further evidence that cross-overs should be discounted because they take massive, massive liberties with canon.
GuardianDevil
GuardianDevil - 1/30/2013, 11:48 AM
@Anung
Crossovers are 1. non-canon so they don't count for anything. 2. Very inconsistent and things happen in them that shouldnt like Storm beating Wonder Woman? Never gonna happen. Batman beating Captain America? Wouldnt ever happen. Wolverine beating Lobo? None of those would happen if those were looked at objectively. And you know what? THE COMPANIES ADMIT THAT, it's true they even say that if they looked at it objectively the outcomes would be very different and they say that 90% of the time the win goes to the more popular character so that character will sell more comics. So of course Superman is going to win everything.

You guys are leaving with nothing to say. Guess that's one way to shut me up.
AnungUnRama
AnungUnRama - 1/30/2013, 12:26 PM
Doesn't the more popular character win in intra-publisher crossovers more often, too? And aren't there many inconsistencies in a character biography or let's say a character's evolution over the years anyway?

But I'm fine with ignoring the Hulk vs. Superman pic on this fight's discussion 'cause it's not really needed to get what I wanted to show i. e. He-Man does stand a pretty good chance even against über powerhoues like Superman, or in this case, Hulk.
GuardianDevil
GuardianDevil - 1/30/2013, 12:50 PM
@Anung
Yes, he does. But I still think Hulk would win because their strength is around equal but Hulk will get a bit stronger as the fight progresses. They're about equal to begin with but Hulk would overpower him as time goes on. That's the same way Hulk beats Thor.

And as for the crossovers, do you mean in-universe battles? Because its not always the more popular, like Deathstroke beating Batman. Or Lobo beating Superman, or Thor beating Iron Man. And others...
AnungUnRama
AnungUnRama - 1/30/2013, 1:55 PM
Yes I meant in-universe crossovers. And yes I know the more popular doesn't win always. Over the years and multiple occasions often either opponent won one time.

But back to today’s fight: You are right, of course, that Hulk would get stronger as the fight progresses, and his power has no limits (thus far), but He-Man's limits haven't been explored yet either. So if Hulk would get the opportunity to grow stronger, depends on how much stronger He-Man is at the fight's beginning.
unknownfacts
unknownfacts - 1/30/2013, 4:02 PM
Most of the time with in-universe fights it's to show that most of the time it's the senario not the fighter that count.Unlike in these match ups writers and artist use clear and level heads to come up with fun and interesting way that characters can fight each other but I'm pretty sure even they argue over the who, what, where, why, and how.
LoudLon
LoudLon - 1/30/2013, 4:08 PM
I never saw He-Man do anything more impressive than lift a boulder or sock Mer-Man in the chops in those little comic books that came with each action figure. Yeah, they amped him up for cross-overs and had him hanging against Superman (they did the same thing with Lion-O in a Superman cross-over, though, so take that for what it's worth). Based on what I remember from the comics that came with the action figures, I'd put him, at best, somewhere around Spider-Man level in strength. But most definitely not anywhere near Hulk or Superman.
kooldeath
kooldeath - 1/30/2013, 8:36 PM
voted for Thor, Hulk would destroy He-Man.. I mean really what could he man do ?? I would say He- Men is in the class with Colossus or maybe the thing..but no where near hulk level . And I picked Judge Dredd ..cause the new movie kicked so much ass and I wasn't excepting it. Dredd would tell Bulleyes to stop and then execute him.
Craven
Craven - 1/30/2013, 8:58 PM
Darth Vader- I completely agree with @Anung...

Hulk- I completely agree with @Loud...

Bullseye- Again with the resident encyclopedia @Loud...

Odin- Still going with the all-father...

I still haven't seen the new Dredd...it's on the list of movies to still watch from last year lol...
