An Old Batman Miniseries I wrote

I'm not proud of this but figured it couldn't hurt to post it.

I wrote this at least 2 years ago, so I'm not proud of this. It was my idea for a 12 part Batman live-action mini-series. I didn't do any casting because that was before I actually started doing that.

Part 1: Shows the deaths of Bruce Wayne's parents and his training to be Batman. He returns to Gotham and learns that mob boss Rupert Thorne had Bruce's parents killed. After Batman starts disrupting Thorne's work, Thorne hires Mr. Freeze to kill Batman. Batman defeats Freeze.

Part 2: Scarecrow appears and poisons Batman with fear toxin. Batman is currently hunting sadistic serial killer The Riddler. Batman ends up catching Scarecrow but not Riddler. Once he gets over toxin, Bruce goes out with Selina Kyle. Batman also meets Com. Gordon.

Part 3: Catwoman appears and takes a liking to Batman. She tells Batman of a mad bomber named Joker, who has a vendetta for Batman. Penguin also appears as new adversary to Batman and Thorne. Dick Grayson, a teen reporter, deducts that Bruce is Batman.

Part 4: Joker appears and blows up several buildings until finally confronted by Batman. Joker calls him "Bruce". Batman is baffled and after a brief skirmish, Joker escapes. Dick Grayson later tells Bruce he knows his secret and offers his help. Batman begins training him. Bruce meets new Gotham D.A. Harvey Dent and they become fast friends.

Part 5: Harvey Dent prosecutes Thorne for his crimes. Thorne hires Riddler to kill Dent. Riddler disfigures Dent before Batman arrives. Dent goes insane and becomes Two-Face. After a long search, Two-Face is found: standing over the dead body of Riddler. Two-Face escapes.

Part 6: Ra's Al Ghul arrives in Gotham and offers Batman chance to join him in plot to destroy Gotham. Batman meets Ra's daughter Talia and falls in love. When Batman refuses to help Ra's, Talia leaves him. Batman and newly anointed Robin confront and defeat Ra's, but not before Ra's stabs Robin with a sword. Batman kills Ra's in anger. Talia shoots Batman in the leg and leaves. Batman says that he and Robin are through as crime fighters. Penguin and Thorne join forces.

Part 7: Clayface and Poison Ivy, a couple (I honestly don't know WHY I wrote that) announce their arrival by capturing Joker. Bruce is suspicious but does nothing. Dick wants to investigate but Bruce won't let him. Dick, furious at Bruce, leaves. As Robin, he proves that Clayface and Poison Ivy are actually working for Penguin and Thorne. Batman decides to "unretire" and defeats Clayface and Poison Ivy. Robin refuses to return with Bruce and leaves. Batman also saved Barbara Gordon during the fight against Clayface and Poison Ivy.

Part 8: Harley Quinn, a trained assassin, comes to kill Batman and kidnaps Alfred. During a battle between Batman and Harley, Alfred is shot in the back. He becomes paralyzed from the waist down. Joker, who recently escaped from Arkham, kills Harley for fulfilling one of his life dreams (hurting Alfred). Joker tells "Bruce" that he is next. Barbara Gordon then shows up as Batgirl and knocks out Joker. She offers Batman her help. Realizing the danger she'll be in without him, he accepts.

Part 9: Mr. Freeze returns, this time with Scarecrow, and they destroy Wayne Manor. Bruce and Alfred move to a penthouse then come to a realization: They know that Bruce is Batman. Batman finds Scarecrow and nearly kills him trying to get information. Before Scarecrow can spill the beans, he is shot by a mysterious figure in a trench coat with a bandaged face. He shoots at Batman then flees.

Part 10: Two-Face shows up at Bruce's penthouse and tells him that someone is selling Batman's secret. Batman and Batgirl investigate. They see a darkly dressed man stalking penguin and Thorne. He sees Batman and Batgirl and runs. Batgirl catches up to him and asks him who he is. He calls himself Nightwing. He tells her to ask Batman about Robin. He then leaves. Batman is stunned when he realizes that Nighwing is actually Robin. With Nightwing's help, Batman discovers that the man in the trench coat from Part 9 is the one selling Batman's secret. He calls himself Hush. Meanwhile, Com. Gordon is killed in the line of duty.

Part 11: Penguin and Thorne send Mr. Freeze, Clayface, and Poison Ivy to kill Batman. During the fight, Batgirl is wounded. Catwoman then arrives to help Batman. After Mr. Freeze accidentally kills Clayface, Poison Ivy kills Freeze. She then grabs a fallen beam and heaves it at Batman, who was tending to Batgirl. Catwoman jumps into the path of the beam. Batman knocks out poison Ivy and holds Catwoman in his arms as she dies.

Part 12: Joker and Hush arrive at bruce's penthouse. Hush shoots Alfreed through the head. batman demands to know what Hush and Joker want. Hush tells Bruce that he and his son want revenge. Batman is stunned to learn that Joker is Hush's son. Then Hush removes his bandages. Batman is floored when he looks into the face of....his father! Hush, a.k.a. Thomas Wayne, tells Bruce that he and Joker are twins. Bruce was born normal but Joker was born greatly disfigured. His mother wanted nothing to do with him. Hush and Joker blame Bruce for Joker's appearance and Mrs. Wayne's death. (Thomas Wayne was wearing a bulletproof vest during the attack and paid off several people to help him fake his own death.) Nightwing and Batgirl suddenly arrive. Penguin and Thorne then burst through the door. During the ensuing three way battle, Hush shoots Penguin and Thorne shoots Batgirl. Nightwing kills Thorne in a rage and is then shot by Joker. Batman pulls him to safety. Nightwing tells Bruce he's sorry, then dies. Batman charges Hush and breaks both his legs. two-Face then walks in. Batman is prepared for the worst. Two-Face shoots Hush, then grabs Joker. Joker starts cackling and pulls out a detonator. Two-Face shoves Joker away, then pushes Batman into the elevator. He then tackles Joker. The whole floor explodes just as the elevator doors close. Bruce burns his batsuit and leaves Gotham forever.

This is like Batman's 'Smallville', starts off good and then basically disregards most of the stuff from the comics, but would possibly be an interesting series nonetheless.

Awesome it could be a good TV show like Smallville except #12 would be the last episode of the final season and robin and bat girl would be in season 2 or 3

thanks. I wrote it before I read some of the newer comics, so if I were to do it over, I would probably expand it and add Black Mask, Deadshot, and maybe Red Hood.
