SYPNOSIS
"
Arthur Curry and his friend Rose Marie are sneaking into a water theme park late at night. Rose doesn't want to be there but can't go back because the security chasing them will find her. She asks "AC" what they are doing and he says he is saving the animals. He dives into the dolphin arena and swims and opens an underwater gate using incredible super strength. He then swims along with the dolphins and breaks down an underwater wall into the next pen that is situated next to the sea. Rose runs to keep track of AC and is spotted by the guards who run to chase her. AC somehow communicates with the dolphins who all swim and take a run up and jump over the wall and into the ocean. AC climbs out to find Rose running up to him and knocking both into the water. The guards run up and stand over the water waiting for them to surface. AC holds Rose down and begins to kiss her breathing into her. He then grabs her and swims at super human speeds before jumping the wall and landing in the ocean. He and Rose surface who asks how he did that. AC says that he learns new things everyday.
AC drops Rose off at her house before driving back to his home at a lighthouse. Entering the house, he finds his father Tom Curry waiting for him with the Sheriff who wants to ask him questions. The sheriff asks him where he was earlier in the night but AC says that he was at the beach with Rose and that 30 people can prove it. The Sheriff leaves unsatisfied with Tom berating AC knowing it was him. AC heads off to bed and begins to sleep. As he sleeps he dreams of his mother Atlanna playing with him on the beach when he was young along with Tom and his half brother Orm. He then dreams of the lighthouse being raided at night and Atlanna being taken away and Tom being beaten as AC and Orm watch on as young boys. A women enters the room and finds Orm hiding and believing it to be Orin, grabs him and takes him away also.
The next morning AC goes and talks with his father who is standing on the beach. He asks about his mother saying that he doesn't remember much about her asks him if his mother had super powers like him. Tom says that he knew this day would come and that all the answers he seeks will be revealed by McCaffrey. AC goes to visit McCaffrey who is a boat cleaner at the docks. McCaffrey recognises AC and the 2 talk over dinner. McCaffrey tells AC that he is an Atlantean from the world of Atlantis. He tells him his real name is Orin and that he is the Prince of Atlantis and rightful King. AC says that Atlantis isn't real. McCaffrey says that he also is Antlantean and his real name is Vulko and helped his mother and AC escape Atlantis. He tells AC the story of his birth.
"Atlanna was the sole ruler of Atlantis after her husband and AC's father King Gorvan was killed in battle against the Kordax. Atlanna had an affair years after with the Wizard Atlan which resulted in the birth of Orin who was born blonde which is seen as a curse in Atlantis and Orin was never seen publically. Gorvan's brother Maxko sort to be ruler of Atlantis and found out about the affair and ensured the people of Atlantis found out revealing Orin was blonde and that he has been cursed because of the affair. With her own people after her, Atlanna and Atlan decided to leave Antlantis for the Surface Dweller's world and sort the help of Vulko. He managed to create a way from Atlantis but Atlan was killed but allowing Atlanna to escape with Orin and Vulko. Maxko took over as ruler of Atlantis and banished Atlanna, Vulko and Orin forever."
Vulko reveals that Maxko will realise that AC is of the appropiate age to discover his origins and that he will no doubt want to reclaim the throne of Atlantis that is rightfully his. AC trying to take it all in asks about his mother to which Vulko reveals that Maxko sent an assasain to find Atlanna and Orin soon after they left to kill them and ensure that they don't come and reclaim the throne. AC asks where Atlantis is located but Vulko says that AC would be foolish to go there as Maxko would have him killed, using fear to spread amongst the people. As AC is about to leave, bullets ring fire at them and both take cover. Both make a run for it and get into AC's jeep and drive off. The man firing chases firing at the jeep which drives off leaving him stood in the road. The woman who took AC's mother then appears next to the man telling him to find Vulko's settlement and she will go after them. She then runs and jumps off of the cliff and into the water with legs turning into a fin revealed to be a murmaid. She then swims along the coast following the road where AC and Vulko are diving. The woman easily catches up and jumps from the water landing on the roof of the jeep. Getting her knife out she cuts the sheet roof open just as Vulko jumps at her both landing in the back. After a brief struggle, the woman stabs Vulko in the stomach as AC turns to see resulting in the jeep crashing and the woman sent flying through the windscreen and into a tree. AC reverses the jeep and drives off asking Vulko if he is alright. Vulko tells him to drive to his place.
Arriving at Vulko's hut, they enter as Vulko gets out his special medical kit. As he prepares himself, AC looks arond to see a variety of high tech water based equipment. As Vulko is cleaning the wound, the man appears behind Vulko grabbing him with a knife. AC asks who he is and what he wants. The man reveals himself to be AC's half brother Orm who was taken by Atlanteans and tortured because he wasn't Orin. He reveals that the woman is Siren who saved him and took him under her wing and now he wants revenge against Orin. Orm then presses his knife into Vulko's wound causing him pain. AC then quickly grabs a fishing hook and throws it at Orm hitting him in the shoulder making him drop the knife allowing him and Vulko the chance to escape running toward the beech. Vulko tells AC to get to the sea so that he can heal his wound. As they arrive on the beach they are confronted by Siren wielding 2 harpoons. She says that she can't let them escape and that now that AC knows the truth, it is time for him to die. Orm arrives and asks to finish them off himself. Siren reveals that she dosn't care about Orm getting his revenge and that she is tired of him knocking him down with the end of the harpoon. She reveals she is here to kill Orin and bring his body to Maxko and be rich enough to live a life of peace in the sea. Orm enraged, kicks Siren to the ground given Orin and Vulko the opportunity to run into the sea but Siren manages to harpoon Vulko in the back. AC tries to help him but Vulko tells him to go and that it is his destiny. He then dives into the ocean swimming as fast as he can. Siren runs and dives after him transforming her legs into a fin but Orin is long gone.
AC surfaces at the beach next to his lighthouse and goes inside and shouts to his father. Searching the house, he finds Tom sat in his chair watching telly. When he doesn't respond, he goes to find a harpoon sticking in his chest. Enraged, AC grabs the harpoon and pulls it from his father's chest. He then runs and dives into the ocean. Orm meanwhile, makes his way back to Vulko's Hut observing the equipment that Vulko had produced smiling at an advanced Black Scuba Suit.
Siren swims to Atlantis along with the body of Vulko and presents to King Maxko that Orin escaped but brought the body of Vulko as a consolation and that Orin will probobly make his way to Atlantis. Maxko tells Siren he is disapointed with her and considered her one of his primary agents. He orders guards to put her in prison.
Orin is deep under water searching for Atlantis. Coming across a large school of fish he begins to test his telepathic powers by trying to communicate with the fish. At first unsuccessful, he tries to remember the feeling he felt when he communicated with the dolphins earlier. Getting rid of the aggressive feelings in his mind, he makes contact with the fish asking for direction to Atlantis. The school then form a giant arrow pointing towards Atlantis. AC then swims as fast as he can toward at Atlantis.
AC eventually comes upon what seems to be a city underneath the ocean, Atlantis a bright and advanced city. Making his way to the bottom of the city, he sneaks through a pipe that leads into the underground of the city where the holding cells are. He knocks out the guard before recognising Siren within one of the cells. Grabbing the guards sword he threatens Siren for killing his mother and Vulko. Siren pleads with AC saying that she knows Maxko is planning something big and that he is planning to destroy the polar ice caps, flooding Surface Dwellers. AC asks how he is planning to destroy the ice caps. Siren tells AC that Maxko has a machine built beneath the ice caps that is going to set off a shockwave that will collapse the ice caps sending a tsunami across the land covering most of the earth in water. AC says that he is Orin King of Atlantis and knocks Siren out using the end of the sword. He then proceeds to go deeper into Atlantis coming across a group of guards and jumps into a house containing a couple and a young boy who are astonished to see Orin and immediately recognise him with his blonde hair. Orin asks for directions to the King's Hall and makes his way their without getting noticed. He gets their and bursts in knocking out a couple of guards. Maxko is sat on the throne and welcomes Orin to Atlantis. Maxko tries to play himself as a caring uncle but Orin is having none of it and tells the people in the room that Maxko is crazy and not worthy of the throne of Atlantis and that a worthy king would not destroy the Surface Dweller's World. He says he forced his mother out of Atlantis and that he is here to reclaim what is his curse or no curse. Orin charges at Maxko and a brief duel engages before Orin is surrounded by the King's Guard. Maxko orders Orin to be inprisoned while he go and create a new Atlantis all over the Earth.
The guards place Orin in the cell next to Siren. She uses her ability to hypnotise people use her voice to call one of the guards back to open her cell and set her free before taking his weapon and killing him. As she is about to leave, Orm appears wearing the black high tech suit built by Vulko and a variety of high tech weapons. He fires a net at Siren sending her flying backwards and pinning her against the wall. Orm then comes to Orin's cell and frees him telling him that he hasn't forgiven him but that when he returns to Atlantis, he will finish what he started.
Maxko arrives at the machine with his guards and travels up the shaft to activate it. He begins to turn the machine on and power it up. As the guards below wait, one of them has disappeared. Orin swimming at his fastest speed is taking the guards out one by one. Maxko shouts to ask what is happening before coming down the shaft to see his guards all knocked out. Grabbing his staff he goes down as Orin charges at him. The two battle with Maxko on top with the inexperienced Orin trying to hold his own. The fight eventually makes it way up the shaft and knocking Maxko's staff away and sending him down the shaft. Orin goes to shut the machine off but Maxko returns and forces Orin against the hydrogen pump spinning furiously but Orin grabs the staff and jams it into the pump stopping it. As Maxko tries to remove it, Orin knocks him away and punches him onto the staff trapping him. Orin turns the machine to full power and using all of his strength, detaches it from the ice caps and pushes it away before swimming away as it explodes.
Orin returns to Atlantis and announces that Maxko is dead which means that the line of order means he is now King of Atlantis and that he will keep a peace with the surface dwellers and protect Atlantis as he was destined too.
