It has been such a long time since I did another fan cast, so here is my latest. I really hope you check out my Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Batman 2 fan casts as they are meant to be integral into this Superman fan cast.

DIRECTOR:

NEILL BLOMKAMP (District 9): I consider Blomkamp to be a visionary director, who could have a lot ahead of him. I think Superman is character that should have a visionary director, and Blomkamp should be a direct that could be capable of such a film.

MATTHEW BOMER (Flightplan) as KAL-EL/CLARK KENT/SUPERMAN: Matthew Bomer is a fan favorite to play Superman, and when I look at Bomer I can see how he would make a special Superman. I cant really think of any other actor that I knew right off the bat could make an ideal Superman.

OLIVIA WILDE (The Girl Next Door) as LOIS LANE: Woah, Olivide is wild! I have no doubt that Olivia can play a love interest like Lois Lane, and being that Superman is the poster boy of DC, he deserves the hottest love interest of them all!

KARL URBAN (Star Trek) as VRIL DOX/BRAINIAC: I have to admit that I dont quite know how you guys reactions will be to Karl Urban as Brainiac. I for one really think this could work.

BILLY ZANE (Titanic) as LEX LUTHOR: Billy Zane is an obvious choice to play Lex Luthor for me, I just think he has a menacing look to him and it is a plus that he is naturally bald... not to mention Billy Zane can play off Lex's attitude.

STEPHEN ROOT (No Country for Old Men) as PERRY WHITE: I have become convinced that Stephen Root would be perfect for Petty White.

TOM HARDY (Inception) as JOHN CORBEN: This casting might be a little out of place, I dont really know. Just to mention, in this film Corben is not Metallo. Corben wont become Metallo until later on.

JAY BARUCHEL (The Sorcerer's Apprentice) as JIMMY OLSEN: I wanted to cast an actor as Jimmy that has not been recommended before, or at least an actor that is not overrated in the role. I thought Jay Baruchel would make for a great Jimmy to play off of Matthew Bomer's Clark Kent.

JESSICA LANGE (Big Fish) as MARTHA KENT: I really see no reason for Lange NOT to play Martha Kent. I think she is beautiful and while Martha is old, I wanted to cast an actress that was old enough but still very beautiful for her age.

BLAKE CLARK (Toy Story 3) as JONATHAN KENT: I am flabbergasted that I have never seen Blake Clark as a suggestion to play Jonathan Kent, Clark is almost a must for the role!

DANIEL DAY-LEWIS (There Will Be Blood) as JOR-EL: I honestly wanted to cast an actor as Jor-El that could give as good of a performance that Marlon Brando delivered in the role. I know Daniel is very picky with roles he chooses, and he has never really been interested in the superhero genre, but I do beleive that Daniel would at least take up an offer to play a small but big part that has become iconic due to Marlon Brando in the role.

UMA THURMAN (Pulp Fiction) as LARA LOR-VAN: Uma is a very attractive actress and looks very much like Lara. I see no reason not to cast Uma, other then maybe casting an older actress.
