In case you weren't aware, the X-ray style pic highlighting a broken spine refers to Bane "breaking the Bat" in the comics. Obviously we don't know if anything like that will happen in the movie, but it's a fair bet he will take a sound beating anyway! Nice poster regardless.

I could have seen Tim Burton using this if he had ever done this storyline.

Well done cyanotype style poster for a lame potential plotline that becomes seemingly obligatory with the inclusion of Bane....

Good for a graphic novel, or a TP, but too smart for a movie.

It's got that creepy level of weirdom for a dark graphic novel appeal. I like it.

If that is the direction Nolan is going its good because its his last batman movie, I see it like this: Bruce wayne meets selina kyle they fall for each other, eventually he tell her he's batman while Talia and Bane come to destroy gotham and bane breaks batmans back. Selina takes over his duties while he recovers (a way of ending nolans batman)

I think the silhouette around the arms is a little too thin. I'm curious to see how Selina and Talia play in the overall story. Yes, the 'Broken Bat' premise is pretty obvious, but can the actors sell it? Can a British actor (Hardy) play a South American (I think) character like Bane?

@Knigtfall- That makes no f**king sense, dude. Why would Nolan end his LAST Batman movie with him being a cripple? The name of the movie is "The Dark Knight RISES".

@Knightfall1103 Hm, interesting, kinda like ending it with sort of a cliffhanger.

@JediMasterJimMorrison- Nolan knows the difference between "Inception" and Batman, he won't end his LAST Batman movie with a cliffhanger.

The comment pics are better lol.

I like the idea of the article fan made pic, but I think it (graphically speaking) looks like shit.

Nolan will not have Bane break Batman's back. He draws elements from the books, but I doubt he'll directly COPY another writers narrative event. He couldn't just recreate the back breaking, he would have to add other elements from that story. There's no room for it.

And yeah, I didn't want to be the first one to say it, but the poster is underwhelming (as something related to Nolans Batman). The style doesn't really go with the property.
