I’ve changed several things as I always seem to do and I’ve also hand picked my teams (more or less)
My story originates from the Green Flame. The Oan (Guardians of the Universe) try and soak up all of the magic the Earth contains in order to prevent the mishandling of such power. Upon doing so Vandal Savage, a Cro-Magnon, is innocently caught within the Green Flame. The now highly evolved Savage hears the destiny of the flame. A voice tell him, having brought new life it will now bring death and power to those destined for such as it instantly distinguishes. Several thousand years later (the screen reads 1921, Saturday, Slaughter Swamp) a wealthy looking man anxiously buries another in a swamp, not before taking his watch. The Green Flame ignites and kills the man, then as quickly as it ignited, it goes out. (1976) A construction site starts breaking and falling down. In danger of dying, the workers scramble to get to safety. The Flame ignites and fulfills its destiny. Alan Scott hears the Guardians “We are the Green Lanterns; you are chosen to wield the mystic powers held within your world. Use them with honor and valor.” So he does his thing.
(1980) On the news: celebrating the Age of Heroes, we take a look at the Green Lantern, fighting thugs, who’s been around for 4 years, Flash, fighting Icicle (stabbed Flash with something before getting away) for 2 and Wildcat (fighting thugs) for 1 ½. Sources say they’re meeting with the Pres of U.S.
(1945) Per Degaton locates Savage and explains that, in the future, they can use science and the DNA of the Flash to rule the world---off they go into the future (of 1979).
(80) Savage, Icicle and Per Degaton await the results of the DNA injection on The Rival (Reverse Flash)- duh it works (they’ve been working on it for a year). They resurrect Grundy at the Swamp.
(At the White House) GL, Flash and Wildcat talk to President Carter, his scientist Hourman, and Hawkgirl who explains that she was displaced 1 year ago. We see a flashback describing that Per and Savage’s time travel (due to Savage’s mystical ties) some how brought her here and she’s been hiding ever since.
They show the Helm of Nabu and explain they no the villains are forming a team so, too, must they.
The Rival and GL collide and time warp/vanish. Dodging blasts from Icicle, Flash is caught and killed by Grundy. Hawkgirl kills Grundy. Wildcat pummels Icicle, shattering him. Degaton uses his ability to evade defeat, seizing an opportunity to kill Hawkgirl until Hourman knocks him unconscious. Savage escapes.
A decade or so passes, we see Hourman married and hiding his addiction. Wildcat is seen training a 16-year-old Bruce Wayne and then teaching students. A young man, back to us (over his shoulder) is seen drawing a Libra costume.
Evil never dies. To be con’t in my Justice League cast

Tahmoh Peniket (BSG, Dollhouse) Now, I also love Joe Manganiello and Owain Yeoman for this part. I thought I came up with Peniket on my own, tirns out he’s old news for the Big “S”. Manganiello’s the new choice for many and I think he’s PERFECT in a stand-alone JLA, however, I would reserve my enthusiasm only after I see how well he pulls off the dorkish Clark Kent. I don’t think he can be a dork--look at him. Owain, on the other hand, I feel, can pull off the out of place Kent as well as the intimidation required by The Man of Steel, but may be a bit skinny right now (I think). Peniket can do it all and looks the part so I chose him as part of the large picture. I don’t want my Supes to stand out as a God among men, just the most powerfull)
