These are my casting ideas for the other major or important Avengers who may be added to the film or a sequel(s) to it. I didn't cast EVERY hero who's ever been an Avenger, just the one's that I felt were noteworthy (hence why I didn't even bother with Photon, Jack of Hearts, Captain Britain, Swordsman, etc.)
We already know the set Avengers.
And Rhodey, who could make an appearance in a sequel.
OK, here's the rest.
Ant-Man/Hank Pym- Tom Cruise
Yes, he's insane. Yes, he's a Scientologist. And yes, he's also a very good actor. I think he would do quite well in the role. He's a great actor in really dramatic scenes.
Wasp/Janet Pym- Keri Russell
Keri Russell is a very talented actress and would be very good in this role. Plus, she's already worked with Cruise in "M:I III".
Black Panther/T'Challa- Dijimom Hounsou
He was fantastic in "Blood Diamond" and "Gladiator". He was meant for the role.
Ms. Marvel/Carol Danvers- Diane Kruger
She looks just like Ms. Marvel. She'd do OK.
Vision- Daniel Craig
Craig is really good as an unemotional character. He'd make a good Vision.
Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff- Eliza Dushku
She's been rumored for the role and does have a resemblance to the character.
Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff- Joseph Gordon-Levitt
I actually think he would good in this role, as Wanda's overbearing brother with a quick temper.
She-Hulk- ?????
I got no idea.
Spider-Woman/Jessica Drew- Jennifer Connelly
Spider-Woman is one of my favorite Avengers, so I picked one of my favorite actresses.
Falcon/Sam Wilson- Robert Downey Jr. as Kirk Lazarus
RDJr. would be SICK as Falcon! He would make the movie(s) so much better.
Mockingbird/Bobbi Morse- Rachel McAdams
She looks the part, is a great actress, and is also hot. Nothing more need be said.
Luke Cage- Terry Crews
Tyrese Gibson has been rumored for the role but I think Terry Crews would be much better.
Tigra/Greer Nelson- Rachel Nichols
She'd do alright.
Iron Fist/Danny Rand- Mark Wahlberg
Marky Mark! Mark Wahlberg needs to be a superhero (Max Payne doesn't count). Iron Fist would be a great choice.
Wonderman/Simon Williams- Kevin Durand
He'd do pretty good.
Sentry/Bob Reynolds- Brad Pitt
Yes, he's crazy too, but anyone who's seen "Fight Club" and/or "Se7en" will agree that he'd do a phenomenal job as Sentry.
Dr. Strange/Stephen Strange- Gary Oldman
Oldman would rock as Dr. Strange.
Captain Mar-Vell- Aaron Eckhart
If they were to decide to use Mar-Vell, Eckhart is the perfect choice. Hands down.
