Keep in mind this is my very first article on CBM, and this is just a very simple fan cast. During Comic-Con 2012 Marvel Studios announced Avengers phase 2, along with a couple other movies such as Ant-Man,Iron Man 3,Thor:The Dark World,Captain America:The Winter Soldier, and last but not least Guardians Of The Galaxy! I could hardly contain my excitement when they announced the Guardians Of The Galaxy movie, and its roster in a concept art of the film (WITH ROCKET RACCON!),so I decided to show my opinion on who should play who,I apologize for the low-res photos.

nice choices but this film is going to have a lot of cgi and make up my 2 favourites are groot and rocket racoon i dont want groot to be wearing a costume that would be silly

Nice picks, I enjoy most of them, but the only actor who could possibly pull off Rocket Raccoon is none other than Andy Serkis!!!

The only one that doesn't fit is OLIVIA WILDE.

Too small! She'd have to wear a padded bra from hell!

GAMORA has a really curvaceous body and a large
rack! No ifs, ands, or BUTTS!

Vin Diesel as Drax would be perfect imho. And Zoe Saldana as Gamora would perfect to me also. And Andy Serkis seems born to play Rocket Raccoon. Some one else told me Seth MacFarlane could play Rocket Raccoon;that's actually not a bad suggestion lmao but I would rather Serkis.

It's a quite nice fancast, It's just
that OLIVIA WILDE is factually
small-boobed, it's visibly quite obvious!
And she's slim-built.

She's hot as hell but she doesn't fit the
big-bosom, curvy, ALIEN-WARRIORESS GAMORA!
That's all!

Also PETER CULLEN has too much synopsis with
OPTIMUS PRIME! At least to me! That would bug me!

And why does everyone want ANDY SERKIS for
ROCKET RACCOON?
ROCKET RACCOON ain't BRITISH!

ROCKETT RACCOON should have a plain AMERICAN voice
without an accent!

Any actor with an AMERICAN voice can do it!

@DDD is there a description of RR accent anywhere? I've only gathered he's cockney from EMH, IMHO I much prefer is (not being biased because I'm English) but really just a nice change really

@AwesomeRaccoonSpider771: Thanks, yea Vin seems perfect because if you have seen him as Riddick(were he also uses knifes a lot in this film) and Fast and the Furious then you know why he is perfect. And Zoe Saldana is perfect cause if you have seen Star Trek, Avatar, and Colobiana(though a terrible movie, she is great in it)then you'll know she has the acting/emotional power as well as the ability to portray an action heroine. Andy Serkis doesn't even need explanation really. And MacFarlane wouldn't be a bad choice either cause he's hilarious, could be rude and a smart ass perfectly, and does amazing voice animation(Family Guy, and specifically Ted).

The guy the played the Tree in TLOTR I know is a obvious choice for groot but would be great. Otherwise I don't know who can play Groot. Someone with a deep and powerful voice. And Star-Lord is giving me a tough time, I did this of Chris Pine for him. Jake seems like a good idea I guess to. Maybe Gerald Butler as Groot? Has a very powerful voice(If you have seen 300 than you'll know what I mean). That could be a great pick maybe.

ROCKET RACCOON is a space-alien humanoid raccoon.

He's not from ENGLAND whatsoever!
How can he have a BRITISH or COCKNEY accent!
This is not DR. WHO!

IT DEFIES LOGIC!

I see ROCKET with a plain AMERICAN voice.
No accent for an alien RACCOON, in the movies.

It would feel more authentic, like SPOCK
having no certain accent in STAR TREK because
he's an alien. He wouldn't have any certain
accent from any country ON EARTH.

The animated ROCKET RACCOON had a COCKNEY accent
but that was a cartoon!

It would be more realistic and less silly if he
didn't have a cartoonish accent for a GOTG MOVIE.

No offense meant to anyone BRITISH!

I see ROCKET RACCOON with a plain AMERICAN VOICE,
a gruff voice, a type of tough veteran military
voice.

I don't see a BRITISH voice or an AMERICAN accent
like DANNY DE VITO (which someone suggested).

I think ROCKET RACCOON would have a gruff
AMERICAN voice like JACKIE EARLE HALEY had
as RORSCHACH in WATCHMEN. A gruff army sergeant-
like voice but no extreme accent.

@ DDD you make a very good point, I think I would still prefer a cockney accent though. I mean raccoons are obviously not just from earth in the MU so why should an accent. Also to say that an evil fighting space travelling raccoon with a cockney accent defies logic but a plain American accent makes it all ok is a but silly now isn't it. I'd say about 95% of the stuff talked about on this site defies logic
