I think that Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character John Blake should NOT have been Robin in TDKR. Nolan has constantly said "No Robin" in the past 7 years. Why the sudden change? Joseph Gordon-Levitt should have been named Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, or Tim Drake. NOT John Blake. And John Blake's legal name was Robin. What the heck?

Joseph Gordon-Levitt could have even played Terry McGinnis, in order to make a Batman Beyond film.

TDKR is highly overrated.

Pretty decent. Great even. But highly overrated.

Congratulations you just contradicted yourself twice in what could have been one sentence. This is more of a comment, than an editorial with substance. However, it doesn't surprise me. People are obsessed with this film lately.

I agree this is a waste of space. Why would you put the spoiler in the title? I know that most people have seen it but it's still not cool. Also why would you put the spoiler warning after the spoiler?

If you're confused about why John Blake is ROBIN at the end....I have made an editorial just before your's that may give an explanation.

John Blake should have been The Riddler.

John Blake should have been Clayface.

John Blake should have been Poison Ivy.

John Blake should have been Batgirl.

^ I just wrote 4 editorials consecutively. Editorials are fun.

LoudNoises, way off, man. He should have been Oracle, Huntress, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Poison Ivy, Riddler, Batgirl, Iron Man AND Clayface.

The whole Robin thing was just a little treat for the fans, that was all.

Instead of dragging out the film over 10 years with the 3 Robins, he just combined them all into one and created a new character...

They created a new Robin for The Dark Knight Returns...

i dont see anything wrong with Blake.

Burton was going to make one of the Wayans brothers Robin. In his version, he was going to be a street smart kid who was good with gadgets. No costume. And he would have been in the film for less than 10 minutes..

John Blake assisted Batman as a police detective. Which is more than he can possible do as a costumed hero (Nightwing). He just doesn't have the fighting skill of Batman. But I understand why some may not like Christopher Nolan's version of Batman's legacy/side-kick.
