My new movie fancast of T'CHALLA, The King of Wakanda...
BLACK PANTHER!

Photobucket

T'CHALLA'S birth killed his mother, N'YAMI, and his older brother,
HUNTER, blamed him for her death. His second mother, ROMANDA, left the family
when T'Challa was only eight, and when he was in his pre-teens, his father,
T'CHAKA was murdered by ULYSSES KLAW over the rare metal
VIBRANIUM that comes from Wakanda. Klaw was later driven away after
then 11-year-old T'CHALLA destroyed KLAW'S left hand with his own
destructive VIBRANIUM-based sonic device, almost killing him. ROMANDA
was later eventually returned to WAKANDA with the help of T'CHALLA.

T'Challa being the son of T'Chaka put him in line to be the next King of
Wakanda and Black Panther, but young super genius T'Challa knew he was not yet
ready to become the leader of the nation. But he felt his childhood ended the
day his father died and that it was time to start to act as a King would. So
S'YAN, T'Chaka's younger brother & T'Challa's uncle, took the Bast/Panther
trials, passed and became the Black Panther.

During his youth, T'Challa while on his Wakandan Walkabout/Rite of passage met
and fell in love with apparent orphaned teen named, ORORO MUNROE, and later
known as a member of the X-Men, Storm. The two broke off there relationship due
to his need to avenge his father’s death & to become the type man who could
lead the nation of Wakanda, but they would see each other over the years when
they could. After studying in his home country, the advanced nation of
Wakanda, a young T'Challa traveled to other parts of Africa, , Europe and to
study and train. He returned home once he'd learned all that he could and was
ready to lead the country.

At 19 years old, T'Challa, wearing a mask, challenged the then Black Panther &
King (his uncle S'yan) and and beat him in fair combat. After that T'Challa was
required to take the rest of the Bast/Panther trails such as defeating the
various champions of the 18 Wakandan tribes. Finally after being judged & found
worthy by the Panther God, Bast, next the Heart Shaped Herb/Heart of Wakanda
was applied to his body and ingested by him (the process would kill any person
who was unworthy or not a member of the royal line) and that process also
linked him to Bast. The competition of the Panther trials made him a superhuman
granting him enhanced speed, agility, strength, endurance, healing, memory and
senses (sight / vision, hearing, smell, etc).

As one of the first acts as King he threw the WAKANDAN secret police,
the HATUT ZERAZE and their leader and T'CHALLA'S brother, HUNTER, otherwise
known as WHITE WOLF, out of the Country. T'CHALLA wanted his leadership to be
open, just and honest. This did not make his older brother happy to say the
least and he hated and conspired against T'challa from that day forward.

In my movie idea here, later T'CHALLA meets up with ORORO again and they
rekindle their feelings in a whirlwind romance.

Meanwhile HUNTER conspires to wipe out WAKANDA'S economy and
thus T'CHALLA is forced to nationalize all foreign companies and that's
when TONY STARK enters the picture, he ends up with controlling interest
in the WAKANDAN DESIGN GROUP.

Thus T'CHALLA/BLACK PANTHER must fight WHITE WOLF'S
onslaught to overthrow him and take over WAKANDA and fight to get
back the WAKANDAN DESIGN GROUP and restore his countries
economy.

It's WHITE WOLF VS BLACK PANTHER/BROTHER AGAINST BROTHER & THE HATUT ZERAZE VS
T'CHALLA'S female personal guard, THE DORA MILAJE.

MY NEW BLACK PANTHER MOVIE FANCAST:

Photobucket

BLACK PANTHER (T'CHALLA): IDRIS ELBA, 6'2¾”, 37
Photobucket

ORORO is a tall toned yet slim female African weather-mutant, not a
tiny skinny little thing like Hale Berry or a big-breasted buff butch-
lesbian like some artists render her! I think Sydney Tamiia Poitier is
the perfect size and shape and acting ability to effectively portray
ORORO MUNROE. But of course STORM is stuck at FOX so until
MARVEL/DISNEY get off their duffs and get the rights at least to
use her in THE BLACK PANTHER it'll unfortunately never be!
But in my “Perfect World” fancast...here she is! LOL

ORORO MUNROE (STORM): SYDNEY TAMIIA POITIER, 5'11”, 36
Photobucket

Sydney Tamiia Poitier has the statuesque regal beauty that simply fits the
weather-mutant/goddess and future Wakandan Queen, ORORO!
Photobucket

It's those long exquisite legs that give her the statuesque height.
Photobucket

WHITE WOLF (HUNTER): D.B. WOODSIDE, 6'3”, 41
Photobucket

I feel ADAWALE AGBAJE has just gotten too old to really play the part of
T'CHALLA/BLACK PANTHER but I think he's ideal to play his father,
T'CHAKA, when T'CHALLA is yet a boy and sees KLAW kill his father,
then turning KLAW'S own sound weapon on him and destroying his hand.

T'CHAKA: ADAWALE AKINNUOYE AGBAJE, 6'2”, 43
Photobucket

KANDYSE McCLURE, from BATTLESATR: GALACTICA would be great to play T'CHALLA'S
lovely mother N'YAMI, who dies in giving birth to him.

N'YAMI: KANDYSE McCLURE
Photobucket

VINCENT CASSEL is good at playing arrogant vicious foreign guys! Just check
him out in "EASTERN PROMISES".

KLAW (ULYSSES KLAW): VINCENT CASSEL
Photobucket

TONY STARK (IRONMAN): ROBERT DOWNY JR.
Photobucket

Joe Morton is a great actor and always playing wise men of authority and would
be ideal as T'CHALLA'S main adviser, N'GAZZI.

N'GASSI: JOE MORTON
Photobucket

W'KABI is one of T'CHALLA'S top confidantes and a leader of his warriors.

W'KABI: TAYE DIGGS
Photobucket

S'YAN: DANNY GLOVER, 6'3½”
Photobucket

YOUNG S'YAN: MEHCAD BROOKS, 6'3”
Photobucket

QUEEN MOTHER (ROMANDA): ALFRE WOODARD

Thanx TANK@!

Yep, we do have the same mind TG@!
We want great actors in great movies!

I do my bestest! LOL

Thanks so very much T-GIRL!

My Storm is 36, that's not REAL young
and she has acting chops and is
exquisitely beautiful!

She looks darker in some pictures than other's!

She looked pretty dark on TV in the new and now
canceled KNIGHT RIDER!

Storm has more Caucasian features than a usual
woman of African heritage so I thought Sydney
Tamiia was perfect for the part!

Nona Gaye does have them nice fine big..uh...
...she has a nice chest! LOL

Damn dude very cool casting I like how you inclided som many characters. It would be cool if they could get Storm and Iron Man for this movie, but I doubt they'll be able to do that any time soon. Very nice casting though

By the way if you want to check out a cool Batman story, then click the picture below

DDD - 9/1/2010, 6:17 AM
Thanks DEADPOOL BUD!

Yup I'm hoping the same thing...that
Marvel gets BLACK PANTHER going soon!
I would love to see IDRIS as THE BIG BAD
BLACK CAT from WAKANDA!!!!
DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 6:59 AM
Thanks Tea@!

I fell in love with her when I saw her in
QUENTIN TARANTINO'S BULLETPROOF!

RomatEr
RomatEr - 9/1/2010, 8:04 AM
@DDD Ya mean Death Proof?

Great fancast, I love Idris Elba as Black Panther, but my choice would be Chiwetel Ejiofor.
6of13
6of13 - 9/1/2010, 8:04 AM
Awesome. Every actor on this casting is so tall!

I have never seen Poitier act, but the actors that I do know are all superb actors, therefore, great casting dude.

I am South African and I know a South African actor who I think would be excellent as BP, though you probably have never heard of him. Based on his body of work and the types of roles he has played, I believe he would be perfect.

Idris is a brilliant choice.

If this movie ever gets made, it HAS to be shot in SOUTH AFRICA!
DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 8:17 AM
Thanks RomatEr@!

Yeah, Chewie was my first pick for
Black Panther but then I found out he's
only 5'11" and I want a taller more
imposing actor to play THE PANTHER!

Idris is as imposing and bigger-than-life
as ya can get! He's big and scary-looking,
exactly how Black Panther should be!

And Hells Yeah, DEATHPROOF!!!
DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 8:19 AM
Oh, Crap that was a slip of the tongue
with Bulletproof!
LOL

Of course it's DEATH PROOF! DUH!
GAWD, I GOTTA GROW A BRAIN! DAMM!
LOL

DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 8:47 AM
Thanks a lot 6of13! Yeah, Black Panther
should definitely be shot in S. Africa!
It would make the whole movie look
authentic as hell!

I'm pretty familiar with South Africa
cuz I gotta a Caucasian South African
lady friend in Cape Town (I met her when
she was here visiting the states) and she
has sent me tons of pics of your beautiful
neck of the woods and sent me travel
brochures! I hope to get there one
of these days!

But it would be great if they filmed
Black Panther there!

SYDNEY TAMIIA POITIER is "Sidney Poitier's"
lovely daughter! Her mother is a beautiful
Caucasian actress from Canada. Tamiia has
quite an acting pedigree. There's no wonder
she is a good actress!

Check her out in "DEATH PROOF", one half of
the GRINDHOUSE movie. Grindhouse is two
movies in one and is excellent, both movies
are excellent. The other half is written
and directed by ROBERT RODRIGUEZ! It's called,
"PLANET TERROR".

You can rent them seperately!

DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 9:00 AM
Thanks LC@!

By the way, Where's Leee@?
I'd like him to give me
his honest opinion
on Idris as Black Panther!

I know he's very busy lately with
you guys and your move and all!

DDD @ I'm hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! : p

I love them all dude, well apart from IDRIS as BP, he's the perfect BISHOP to me! You should keep to your original pick dude, he way perfect! : D

But excellent work tho man a EPIC 5 =

Still if he didn't get BISHOP I'm all for it! ; D

Thumbs up bud!!!

DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 2:59 PM
Thanx BABY DOLL@ You sweet girl!

Thanx so much!
DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 3:04 PM
Yup, Sever@, agree with you completely!
Idris is perfect for Black Panther!

He's tall, African King-looking and is
one hell of a thespian! What more could
ya want in a T'challa for the big screen!
EyeofHorus
EyeofHorus - 9/1/2010, 3:05 PM
Good stuff as always my man. Idris was and still is my choice for James "Rhodey" Rhodes, but of course that ain't ever happening. And I have Adawale Akinnuoye Agbaje as my choice as Bushman for Moon Knight, but he'd work as T'Chaka. Strong choices all around for the rest of the cast you put together. Thumbs up.
DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 3:10 PM
TheMessenger@ I personally don't see a problem with
Idris playing the small supporting part in Thor and
then STARRING as T'challa in a Black Panther movie!

Heck, Rebecca Romijn starred as MYSTIQUE in X-MEN &
then co-starred in JANE'S PUNISHER. Nobody seemed to
mind THAT!

It ain't no big deal, in my mind!
DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 3:35 PM
Thanx Leee@ my friend!

I got to thinking about Idris for BP
when I saw him on TV awhile back as
an underground outlaw DJ broadcasting government
conspiracies from his basement on CBS'
CRIMINAL MINDS.

He was doing a spot on American
accent and was so standout as that
counterculture genius telling it like it
really is! I was extremely impressed
with his acting abilities there!

Also he was amazing on cable TV'S "THE WIRE"!
I think he is kinda wasted in a supporting role!
He is "STARRING" material and would be an
extremely impressive Black Panther!

That's why I changed from AAA! I think ADAWALE,
since he's 43 now, should play the older part of
T'challa's father, T'CHAKA! I feel that is where
Adawale would best be put to good use!

Idris would also make an excellent BISHOP but I
like MICHAEL JAI WHITE for the big X-man from the
future!

Photobucket
DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 4:05 PM
Hamm3rtym3@ Hunter is T'challa's older natural
brother from their mother N'yami. That's him
standing next to N'yami there pregnant with
T'challa!

In the 2nd picture you can clearly see he is
black, T'challa's natural older brother!

I don't know where you got your info but it's
wrong

DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 4:13 PM
Thanks EyeofHorus@!

That means a lot coming from YOU!
Your casting choices are very well chosen!

Thanks, I really appreciate it!

Yeah, Idris could play "Rhodey" Rhodes
with style! I always pictured Rhodey as
a big tall muscular military man!

The two men who have played him are kinda
short but they really din't want to put a
nearly 6'3" guy like Idris as RHODEY besides
the 5'9" RDJ! That would not be good!
LOL
DDD
DDD - 9/1/2010, 11:22 PM
Hamme3rtym3@ you were right! I apologize!
Somehow I got my wires crossed about Hunter
the WHITE WOLF! He "WAS" adopted by T'CHAKA
before T'challa came along!

But I can't find anywhere that references
him being Caucasian/White! All the pics I've seen
of him he looks black to me! But you may be
right about him being white or at least part-
white cuz he's listed at the Marvel wiki as
having blue eyes!

I'm actually quite confused over it all still
whether he's white or not. He looks black in all
pics I have of him! Oh. well!

I stand corrected! Thank you!
LEEE777
LEEE777 - 9/2/2010, 2:44 AM
Yeah DDD @ I don't like MJW the guy sux as an actor, a small martial arts MARVEL role for him at most, but not BISHOP... man the guy killed SPAWN amongst other roles.

Back to your other role of IDRIS, I'm seeing the light dude, he is totally my second choice for BP... Hell I know AAA is 40 plus but man he echoed BP in LOST, still give it a few more years and hellz yes I'm with you buddy, IDRIS is near perfect!

Yeah loved him on LUTHOR (check that out if you haven't seen it, killer bbc series).

Damn dude did I say awesome cast already!!!

P.S. Hope you didn't mind me using your skull rings... seemed fitting for your article, tho babydoll beat metoit heehee!

Lookin' forward to your next one bud, you always deliver the best quality!
TheSoulEater
TheSoulEater - 9/2/2010, 4:50 AM
Everyone from Klaw down is awsome.

But Zoe Saldana should be storm, and David Oyelowo should be BLack panther
DDD
DDD - 9/2/2010, 4:09 PM
Leee@ I didn't know you felt that way about Michael Jai
White, I think he would be OK for Bishop, myself, oh well.

Yeah, I wanna see Idris play one of the big roles at
Marvel not just a small role. He's being wasted as a
supporting actor, I think! I would love to see him play
T'challa for sure!

I'll have to check Luthor out! Thanks for the info!

Yeah, it seems like everybody is sending my skulls back at
me! LOL Thanks guys and Thanks Lee@! I
appreciate the sentiment!

Yeah, it's always entertaining and interesting for
me to see your fancasts when they come around. Our
fancasts don't come around very often now but we do
it right when we do it! It's nice to see, at least,
that a lot of the other fancasts are very good
lately!
DDD
DDD - 9/2/2010, 4:21 PM
Thanx SoulEater@

Zoe Saldana is a gifted actress but I don't want her doing
EVERY damm CBM! I think she might overshadow
the role now! I want a lesser known actress for Storm.
Zoe has been done to death for me!

And I want the exact opposite for T'Challa. I want him
to be a more well known actor like Idris to play such
a huge important role as Black Panther, someone who is
a more seasoned and skilled actor and someone who
has a powerful charisma like Idris! Plus he's already
been a Marvel employee!

David Oyelowo is only 5'10" and smallish-built! He's
way too small to play King T'challa! He's an excellent
actor but way too tiny!

Idris Elba is almost 6'3" tall. He's big with a
powerful persona to play the powerful Black Panther!
DDD
DDD - 9/4/2010, 4:26 AM
Wow! I'm still learning stuff about Marvel at my
geezer-age! Thanks Hamme3tym3@ for the info! I
couldn't find one reference online that said
exactly what race he was! But Marvel does say he
has blue eyes but I've seen blue-eyed African-
American/African guys before!

As-a-matter-of-fact I had a friend in high school
who had blue eyes and he was very African American!
Played football with him on my High School team!

But since White Wolf was actually "WHITE", it makes
the battle between him and T'challa even more
poignant! Great!

Daniellantern - 9/8/2010, 12:13 AM
yes!! idris elba for Black Phanter!!!!!
I thought BP costume must have combination like batman suit in the dark knight and iron man armor. espescially for BP helmets. because wakanda technology was so looking forward than other country..

It took me a while to get good at this myself!
