Before the cast, I'd like to say 2 things. First, I chose to forgo my usual Producer section due to the fact it's Marvel Studio related, basically any Producers would be the standard Marvel/Disney Crew. Second, I know there will be a few choices that will immediately kill the cast for anybody, I understand that but out of any and all respect for Fan Casting, I'd appreciate it if you looked over the entire cast and gave an opinion on the cast itself as a whole, instead of stopping at the first "Bad/Wrong" choice you come across. That said, I hope you enjoy the cast.
Production Designer: a production designer or P.D is the person responsible for the overall look of a filmed event such as films, TV programs, video games, music videos or adverts. Production designers have one of the key creative roles in the creation of motion pictures and television. Working directly with the director and producer, they must select the settings and style to visually tell the story.
Rick Heinrichs [Notable Works: The Big Lebowski, Hulk, Captain America The First Avenger]: He's done amazing work. The particular work that drew me to him was his work on Captain America. He really captivated not only 1930's/1940's New York, but he also had captured amazing hero and villain lairs that really felt grand to them. His work on Spider-Man could really be spectacular.

Costume Designer: A costume designer is a person who designs costumes for a film or stage production. The role of the costume designer is to create the characters and balance the scenes with texture and color, etc.The costume designer works alongside the director, scenic, lighting designer, sound designer, and other creative personnel. The costume designer may also collaborate with hair stylist, wig master, or makeup artist. In European theatre, the role is different, as the theatre designer usually designs both costume and scenic elements.
Sammy Sheldon Differ [Notable Works: V For Vendetta, X-Men First Class, Kick-Ass]: She gave the X-Men the 60's Uniform. She was able to lift some of the outfits from the Kick-Ass Comics into the Films. There's no doubt in my mind that she could perfectly design the Characters of the Spider-Man Universe.
Director of Photography: A cinematographer (usually credited with the title director of photography, or DP) is the chief over the camera and lighting crews working on a film and responsible for achieving artistic and technical decisions related to the image. The study and practice of this field is referred to as cinematography.
Lula Carvalho [Notable Works: Elite Squad, City of God, Robocop]: If there's anything that really helps the new Robocop stand out, it's the D.P. Lula Carvalho's amazing work. He's really been able to help Jose capture the essence, beauty, and darkness of a future Detroit. With coming to work on New York's skyline, he would be able to do wonders.
Film Editor: Film editing is part of the creative post-production process of filmmaking. The term film editing is derived from the traditional process of working with film, but now it increasingly involves the use of digital technology.
David Brenner [Notable Works: Man Of Steel, Independence Day, 300 Rise of an Empire]: He's been doing this for a while. He's edited some of the best feature films I've ever seen, such including Man Of Steel. He's great with editing: action, drama, and location. He's perfect for editing such a high action character.
Composer: A film score (also sometimes called film music, background music, or incidental music) is original music written specifically to accompany a film. The score forms part of the film's soundtrack, which also usually includes dialogue and sound effects, and comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental or choral pieces called cues which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question.
Henry Jackman [Notable Works: X-Men First Class, Kick-Ass, Wreck-It-Ralph]: His music is fantastic. It's uplifting, personal, and very characterized. Kick-Ass' score felt like a Spider-Man Score. Henry is a wonderful composer. He could definitely harness the sound of Spider-Man.
Screenplay: A screenplay or script is a written work by screenwriters for a film, video game or television program. These screenplays can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. In them, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated. A play for television is also known as a teleplay.
Michael Bacall [Notable Works {As A Screenwriter}: Scott Pilgrim Versus The World, 21 Jump Street, Bookies]: His work on Scott Pilgrim is almost perfect for what I look for in a writer for Spider-Man, it's got teenage, adult, and children humor, and it's got comic book styled action. Bacall's script for it is fantastic, and to put him on Spider-Man would be a smart move.
Director: Directors are responsible for overseeing creative aspects of a film under the overall control of the film producer. They often develop the vision for a film and carry out the vision, deciding how the film should look, in other words they make their vision come to life. They are responsible for turning the script into a sequence of shots. They also direct what tone it should have and what an audience should gain from the cinematic experience. Film directors are responsible for deciding camera angles, lens effects and lighting with the help of the cinematographer and set design with the production designer. They will often take part in hiring the cast and key crew members. They coordinate the actors' moves, or blocking and also may be involved in the writing, financing and editing of a film.
Phil Lord and Chris Miller [Notable Works {As Directors}: The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs]: They've directed comedies for all sort of Audiences. They know their stuff, and really turned a lot of projects around. I feel they both have what it takes to Direct a fantastic Spider-Man film, or trilogy, or series. They've begun to direct sequels and I have a feeling they won't stop at just 1 sequel.
Uncle Ben Parker [Height: 5' 9", Age: 60's]: While Richard and Mary were on assignment, Ben and May took care of Peter. Ben and May had never had children of their own, but after Richard and Mary died, they became Peter’s surrogate parents and raised him as if he were their own son. The teenage Peter, before he gained superhuman powers, was shy and studious, and felt alienated from his fellow high-school students. Ben and May provided him with the love and emotional support he needed, and they were the only two people Peter truly cared for.
John Goodman [Height: 6' 2", Age: 61, Notable Works: Argo, Big Lebowski, Monster Inc.]: I'm a huge, huge John Goodman fan. He's a fantastic actor in almost every way you could think of it. John has played good parental figures before. And while he probably doesn't look a lot like Uncle Ben, I have no doubt in my mind that he would be just as good in the role as any actor you could imagine.
Aunt May Parker [Height: 5' 5", Age: 60's]: May and Ben Parker took in their nephew Peter after the death of his parents and raised him. Ben immediately took to the role of the boy's father but May was at first reluctant. She still remembered her parents blaming her own birth for the destruction of their marriage, and she was afraid that Peter might signal the end of her own marriage. In time, however, she warmed up to Peter, who unexpectedly strengthened the couple's marriage. After Ben's death, life became a struggle with money problems and Peter did his best to help.
Andie MacDowell [Height: 5' 8", Age: 55, Notable Works: Michael, Groundhog Day, Footloose]: Andie was an American sweetheart. She's a wonderful actress. A sweetheart and she's great at playing inspirational people. Having her as Aunt May is injecting the same level of Sweetness and a bit of a home country feel to May that hasn't really been done before
Peter Parker/Spider-Man [Height: 5' 9", Age: 20's]: Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider in high school, and the spider bite caused him to develop abilities powers similar to that of a spider. He was soon able to crawl up walls and sense imminent danger, and eventually even developed his own method of creating webs to swing from. Upon the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter decided that 'With Great Power comes Great Responsibility, and thus became Spider-Man. Always the underdog, Peter is routinely out-manned and out-gunned, but still manages to throw in wise-cracks between punches, and usually comes out on top in the end.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse [Height: 5' 8", Age: 24, Notable Works: Kick Ass, Get A Job, Neighbors]: I know this is a choice that kills it for a lot of people. Personally I think he'd be perfect. He's got the right voice for Spider-Man, right Build, and he's a talented performer. He's really grown as an actor, and isn't so over the top with his "nerdy" persona anymore. He's more culturally bound and would play a modern Peter Parker. He's young enough to pose as a High School or College student, and he's not hideous. I really think he could play Spider-Man. All I can say is if you saw him perform a scene as Spider-Man I think it would turn everyone around.
Mary Jane Watson [Height: 5' 8", Age: 20's]:After her mother Madeline left Philip, the Watson women stayed with various relatives. One such relative that MJ was particularly fond of was her Aunt Anna, living in Queens, New York. On the night of Ben Parker's murder, MJ spotted a frantic Peter running into his house with Spider-Man emerging from an upstairs windows only moments later. At this she deduced that Peter Parker and Spider-Man were one and the same. Confused by the emotions set off by the discovery, she chose to keep this information to herself. Dreaming of a career in either Broadway or film, MJ starred in high school productions such as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, as Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire and in other various plays and productions.
Rachel Hurd-Wood [Height: 5' 7", Age: 23, Notable Works: Peter Pan, Solomon Kane, Dorian Gray]: She's by far one of the most beautiful actresses I've ever seen. She's beautiful, and she's actually talented and strong when it comes to performing. She's a great actress who could really put the emotional depth and heart into Mary Jane. She could take the character to the heights everyone wanted to see out fo Dunst.
Gwen Stacy [Height: 5' 7", Age: 20's]: Peter Parker met Gwen while they were undergraduates at Empire State University. Initially, Peter's problems as Spider-Man made him ignore her advances, and in return, she felt insulted by his aloofness. Gradually, however, a romance developed. Gwen, a science major, seemed to appreciate Peter's intellectual personality, different from that of jocks like Flash Thompson and preppies like Harry Osborn. She was Peter Parker's first true love.
Alison Pill [Height: 5' 6", Age: 28, Notable Works: The Newsroom, Goon, Scott Pilgrim Versus The World]: Alison is a lovely actress. She's smart, strong, and she can play either a sweetheart or a cold hearted woman. Either way Alison has really grown as an actress. Casting her as Gwen was an easy call. She would be a perfect Gwen Stacy.
Captain George Stacy [Height: 6' 1", Age: 70's]: Captain George Stacy was once a prominent member of the New York Police Department, who lived in Queens New York City, New York with his wife Helen Stacy and daughter Gwendolyn Stacy
Scott Glenn [Height: 6' 0", Age: 73, Notable Works: Silence of the Lambs, Sucker Punch, Bourne Legacy]: 1.) He's played legendary cops or law officers before. 2.) He's a legendary actor. There is no way I could feel anybody for the role. Scott is such a Dynamic actor that he could bring spirited fun and energy to his performance as Captain George Stacy.
Norman Osborn/Green Goblin [Height 5' 11", Age: 40's]: Although many have taken up this identity, he is the original and most well-known Green Goblin. Originally an amoral industrialist head of Oscorp and Harry Osborn's father, he took a serum which enhanced his physical abilities and intellect but also drove him to insanity. He adopted a Halloween-themed appearance, dressing in a goblin costume, riding on a bat-shaped "Goblin Glider", and using an arsenal of high-tech weapons, notably grenade-like "Pumpkin Bombs", to terrorize New York City.
Michael C Hall [Height: 5' 10", Age: 43, Notable Works: Dexter, Six Feet Under, Paycheck]: It's not hard to see why I chose him as Norman. His performance in Gamer showed a very energetic and psychopathic side, a very playful criminal, his performance in Dexter is dark, methodical, and serious. If there is a perfect actor to play Green Goblin I'd seriously wager that it would be Michael C Hall. He's got all it take to play the Green Goblin.
Harry Osborn [Height: 5' 10", Age: 20's]: Harry Osborn was the son of wealthy industrialist, Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin. He went to the same college as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. They were roommates for a time, during which Harry encountered occasional problems with drugs. When his father died, Harry found the body and removed the costume.
Kyle Gallner [Height: 5' 8 1/2", Age: 27, Notable Works: A Nightmare on Elm Street, Red State, Smallville]: Kyle's got more talented than he's ever really shown. He really could have the spirit to play Harry and it would be a bit harder to see him snap and become the next Goblin but I trust that Gallner would be more than capable of that level of performance.
J. Jonah Jameson [Height: 5' 1!", Age: 50's-60's]:Jameson is usually the publisher or editor-in-chief of the Daily Bugle, a fictional New York newspaper and now serves as the mayor of New York City. Recognizable by his mustache, flattop haircut, and ever-present cigar, he carries out a smear campaign against Spider-Man that has, at least temporarily, turned much of the gullible city against the hero. He employs photojournalist Peter Parker, who, unbeknownst to Jameson, is Spider-Man's alter ego.
James Woods [Height: 5' 11", Age: 66, Notable Works: Casino, Shark, White House Down]: James is a fantastic actor who would really just be perfect for the role. He's got the right voice, the right look, and a perfect background in film to really play Jonah. He's a smart actor, a funny actor, and a serious actor, all in all he's a perfect choice for Jameson.
John Jameson Jr. [Height: 6' 2", Age: 30's]: Colonel John Jameson, son of newspaper mogul J. Jonah Jameson, was one of the youngest applicants to ever be accepted into NASA's astronaut program. During his first mission, in which he was to orbit Earth, the Forward Guidance Package on Jameson's capsule broke off in space, which caused the craft to spin out of control and plummet back down toward earth. The fledgling adventurer, Spider-Man, who had just begun his career weeks earlier, managed to rescue Jameson by getting a replacement guidance module and attaching it to the falling capsule. John was then able to land the craft safely. This incident, which Jameson's father construed as a publicity stunt to upstage his son's accomplishment, provoked the one of elder Jameson's first editorial denouncements of Spider-Man
Mike Vogel [Height: 5' 10", Age: 35, Notable Works: Bates Motel, Cloverfield, Under the Dome]: I like Mike. He's a good, strong actor who's really making his marks. Sooner or later he'll shine as a leading man and I think playing John would really help that. He's a great actor and perfect for the role.
Joseph Robert Robertson [Height: 6' 1", Age: 40's]: Joseph "Robbie" Robertson worked the Daily Bugle years before Peter Parker's employment, and is seen often arguing with J. Jonah Jameson (as Ben Urich sides with Robbie).
Omar Epps [Height: 5' 10", Age: 40, Notable Works: Dracula 2000, House, The Wood]: I know Robbie is supposed to be older. But I think Omar is really the actor the character needs. He's really dynamic in supporting roles. He would be fantastic in this role and could still play the Robbie we all know.
Betty Brant [Height: 5' 7", Age: 30's]: Betty dropped out of high school in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania to become a secretary of the Daily Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson. There she met Peter Parker when he became a freelance photographer for the Daily Bugle. After they had been attacked by the Vulture, Peter had already noticed his attraction to Betty, and was impressed when she stood up to J. Jonah Jameson over publishing slandering articles against Spider-Man. They began dating shortly afterwards, when Betty was impressed by Parker's kindness when taking care of his ill Aunt May.
Elisabeth Moss [Height: 5' 3", Age: 30, Notable Works: On The Road, Girl Interrupted, Mad Men]: Her performance as Peggy on Mad Men is a testimate to how well this lovely young actress is a great performer and would definitely do the role justice. She's definitely got the looks and the presence to play Betty.
Ben Urich [Height: 5' 9", Age: 40's]: Ben Urich is a chain-smoking, tough-as-nails investigative journalist for the New York City newspaper The Daily Bugle.
Anthony Michael Hall [Height: 6' 2", Age: 45, Notable Works: The Dark Knight, Vacation, Dead Zone]: Yeah I get that he played a nosey reporter in The Dark Knight, but I think he's a good actor. He's a smart actor and he could be a fantastic Ben Urich, especially since Mike Engel isn't a Comic Book Character, this would be a fit one for Anthony.
Felicia Hardy/Black Cat [Height: 5' 10", Age: 20's-30's]:Felicia Hardy was trained by her father (a world-renowned cat burglar) to become a great athlete. After a traumatic experience as a college freshman, Felicia trained herself to become highly skilled and an expert of martial arts and acrobatics. When her father was imprisoned, she decided to follow in his footsteps and use her abilities to become The Black Cat. In the first night of her costumed identity she encountered the lone hero Spider-Man. She felt as if she could trust him and changed sides so he could trust her too. They developed a relationship where Black Cat and Spider-man mutually loved one another. After they broke up, they remain as lovers from time to time.
Jenna Malone [Height: 5' 5", Age: 29, Notable Works: Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Sucker Punch, Donnie Darko]: She is a wonderful actress, and she's got a strong and passionate attitude. If there's anyone who can play the feisty and methodical side of Black Cat, I believe Jena would be perfect. Her performances are strong in nature, but she's also played vulnerable, scared, and broken. I seriously think she would be a perfect fit for Black Cat.
Liz Allan [Height: 5' 9", Age: 20's]: Liz Allan was a high school classmate of Peter Parker when they attended Midtown High School together, and a minor love interest of Parker and Flash Thompson. Initially, Peter liked Liz. However, she was Flash Thompson's girlfriend and initially considered Peter Parker something of a loser, even taking part in the general ridicule that Pete endured on a daily basis. She was flighty and rather thoughtless - not outright cruel, but lacking the empathy necessary to detect Peter's good points. At one oint, paradoxically, she developed a crush on Spider-Man, blowing off both Flash Thompson and Peter Parker because she believed the costumed hero would call her.
Emma Bell [Height: 5' 6", Age: 27, Notable Works: The Walking Dead, Frozen, Elektra Luxx]: She's a real sweetheart as an actress. I enjoy her in Walking Dead, and I think she would be a fun addition to play Liz Allen, It would really be something to see her grow with Harry, and see her develop that relationship, all the while evolving from a High School/College brat to a serious woman.
Eugene "Flash" Thompson/Venom [Height: 6' 2", Age: 20's-30's]: He is a star high school football player who mercilessly bullies Peter Parker. On the other hand, he greatly admires Spider-Man, an irony in which the superhero takes some gratification. After graduation, he joins the United States Army and is haunted by his combat experiences, leading to alcoholism. He was entered in, voluntarily into operation Rebirth 2.0 where he was given the Venom symbiot and thus became Agent Venom.
Sam Claflin [Height: 5' 11", Age: 27, Notable Works: Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Snow White and the Huntsman, Pirates of the Carribean On Stranger Tides, The Quiet Ones]: He's a strong actor, and I really like this guy, He's done fantastic work and really would have the spirit to play Flash. Sure he's not exactly the character but I think he could really play the more heroic Flash, and his work in Hunger Games shows he could play the heroic Agent Venom.
Eddie Brock/Venom/Anti-Venom [Height: 6' 3", Age: 30's-40's]: Brock is a journalist who exposes the identity of a serial killer only for the real killer to be caught by Spider-Man, Brock having accused the wrong man. Disgraced and suicidal, Brock comes into contact with an alien Symbiote, rejected by Peter Parker. The Symbiote bonds with Brock becoming Venom and together they seek out revenge against their mutual enemy. Though Brock repeatedly comes into conflict with Spider-Man, he also attempts to operate as a hero, albeit a violent one, seeking to save those he deems "innocent". In 2008, after being separated from the Venom Symbiote, Brock gains a new Symbiote and becomes the anti-hero Anti-Venom. Sometime later he loses the Anti-Venom symbiot and gains control of the lonely Toxin Symbiot.
Jared Padelecki [Height: 6' 4", Age: 31, Notable Works: Supernatural, Friday The 13th, House of Wax]: Jared is a wonderful actor who has the perfect presence to play Eddie. He's got height, muscle and the anger. He's really shown a lot from his performance in Supernatural He would play a fantastic Eddie Brock no matter what incarnation it is.
Doctor Curtis Conners [Height: 5' 11", Age: 40's-50's]: After losing his arm in an explosion, Dr. Curtis Connors devoted his life to creating a serum to regenerate lost limbs. Using DNA from reptiles, who naturally regrew lost limbs, Connors created a serum he was sure would work. Using himself as the first test subject, Connors injected himself with a dose of the formula, and was ecstatic when his arm began to regenerate. However, the reptilian DNA his serum was based on mixed with, and altered, his own DNA, and turned him into a vicious creature known as The Lizard.
James Marsters [Height: 5' 9", Age: 51, Notable Works: P.S. I Love You, Angel, Dragonball Evolution]: James is a supporting player. He does fantastic work, and always helps bring everyone's performances up. He's talented, smart, and fun. There is no reason he couldn't play an Iconic Curt Conners. He's done a triad of different roles and this would be a perfect role for him.
Max Dillon/Electro [Height: 5' 11", Age: 30's]: High-wire lineman Maxwell Dillon was struck by lightning while in contact with power lines still connected to their spool. The unusually configured magnetic field generated by the wound spool of cable and live, high-tension wires induced a body-wide mutagenic change to his nervous system. Dillon found himself transformed into a living electrical capacitor, powered by the micro-fine rhythmic muscle contractions that normally regulate body temperature.
Jay Baruchel [Height: 6' 2", Age: 31, Notable Works: Robocop, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Knocked Up]: He's definitely not a conventional choice for the role but he is a good performer. He's got the whole nerd vibe but he would play a better villain. He seems like it would help him out, in a way of letting him really put out that kind of bad marks he might get. I think he could really bring to light a darker, less lovable Electro and give us a more sadistic take on the character.
Cletus Kasady/Carnage [Height: 6' 2", Age: 30's]: Cletus Kasady was a severely mentally unstable serial killer who briefly shared a cell with Eddie Brock. When Eddie broke out, he left a part of his Symbiote behind, and Carnage was born. Using the abilities of his new symbiote, Cletus created a long history of slaughtering people and being put in jail for it. Many of his adventures involved Venom and Spider-Man, whom he believed to be his mortal enemies.
Elijah Wood [Height: 5' 6", Age: 33, Notable Works: Lord of the Rings {Franchise}, Maniac, Sin City]: Really his performance in Maniac was perfect. It gave a very f#$%ed up characterization. Honestly it showed me that he would be perfect as Cletus Kasady and could really be the perfect choice.
Spencer Smythe [Height: 5' 8" {Estimated}, Age: 50's-60's]: Spencer Smythe was an inventor of the original Spider-Slayer. He managed to convince J. Jonah Jameson to use it in his campaign against Spider-Man. He also worked with Mark Raxton on creating a liquid metallic alloy for the Spider-Slayers, which eventually turned Raxton into the Molten Man. He next constructed the Spider-Slayer Mark II. His work had exposed him to dangerous radiation that had killed him.
Michael Emerson [Height: 5' 8", Age: 59, Notable Works: Persons of Interest, The Dark Knight Returns Part 2, Saw]: Emerson has played Tech heads before. He plays a heroic one in Persons of Interest. Here he would be able to play a mad scientist that really feels like would be up his alley. He's a smart actor who would be perfect for the role.
Alistair Smythe [Height: 6' 0", Age: 20's-30's]: Alistair Smythe was the son of Spencer Smythe, inventor of the Spider-Slayers - a series of robots designed to destroy Spider-Man. The initial generation of Spider-Slayers were created by Alistair's father and commissioned by J. Jonah Jameson. After Spencer failed to kill Spider-Man - and ended up getting destroyed as a result - Alistair inherited the legacy from his father and gained a new-found hatred toward Spider-Man. He initially worked for the Kingpin but left in disagreement over how to deal with Spider-Man and went solo.
Ben Whishaw [Height: 5' 9", Age: 33, Notable Works: Cloud Atlas, Skyfall, Bright Star]: Ben is a fantastic actor. He's really coming along in his own strides. He can really add dimensions to any character, even if they are fully functional characters already. He's a fine actor and while he wouldn't play the muscle bounded Spider-Slayer, he would play a more frightening one though.
Abner Jenkins/Beetle [Height: 5' 11", Age: 30's]: Abner Jenkins was a mechanic for an aircraft producer. Tired of not getting promotions he thought he deserved he decided to strike out on his own. Using a suit of armor, Jenkins became the Beetle. As the Beetle, Jenkins was often foiled by superheroes.
Rodrigo Santoro [Height: 6' 3", Age: 38, Notable Works: Che, 300, Last Stand]: Rodrigo is a fantastic actor who really seems to be hiding in plain site. He needs to be more exposed. He's far too talented to just be forgotten and I think he would really be a fine choice for Beetle. He might be different ethnicity but he's a good actor and I imagine Beetle isn't so central that the world would have an Electro fit over the race change.
Doctor Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus [Height: 5' 9", Age: 50's-60's]:Otto Octavius created mechanical tentacles to aid him with his nuclear work. After a lab explosion left him hospitalized, Otto awoke to find himself able to telepathically control them, Otto realized that with his new ability, and his already great intellect, he could be the best there is.
Olek Krupa [Height: 6' 0", Age: 58, Notable Works: Behind Enemy Lines, Burn After Reading, Salt]: I was watching Law and Order Criminal Intent, and I saw Olek the first thing that jumped into my head was the image of Doc Ock from the 90's cartoon. Olek a 57 year old Polish actor also carried a bit part in X-Men First Class as one of the Russian Boat Captains. Olek as seen in many other works is an amazing actor, best known for playing villains, i doubt he's ever played a character like Doc Ock, but he is certainly a talented individual, for a better look at his filmography check out his imdb page.
Roderick Kingsley/Hobgoblin [Height: 5' 11", Age: 40's]: Roderick Kingsley is a fashion designer using questionable and ruthless business practices, Roderick develope a financial empire reaching far beyond the fashion industry. Victim to one of Kingsley's machinations, rival designer Narda Ravanna, under the guise of Belladonna, attacked him but was stopped by Spider-Man. Feeling deficient in lacking the physical power to protect himself, Roderick sought out Norman Osborn's original Green Goblin formula. Modified in hopes of avoiding the insanity-inducing side effects, Kingsley found the formula gave him strength nearly equal that of Spider-Man's. As the Hobgoblin, Roderick went on a blackmail binge meaning to cripple his major competitors. After a fight with Spider-Man left everyone assuming he had drowned, Roderick decided the direct criminal approach wasn't for him. Brainwashing news reporter Ned Leeds into thinking he was the Hobgoblin, Kingsley orchestrated Leeds into helping Richard Fisk become the Rose, aiding the upstart mobster during the "Gang Wars" that almost destroyed New York City.
Sharlto Copley [Height: 6' 0", Age: 40, Notable Works: District 9, Elysium, A-Team]: Like anybody else would really be able to play this type of psycopath any better? Roderick is a very easy character to imagine without taking out the corp fundamentals that fans love. And if there is anyone to really pick to do that, to stick to the character and yet change him it would be Sharlto Copley. He's fun, he's dedicated, and he's a smart Actor.
Ned Leeds/Hobgoblin [Height: 5' 11", Age: 30's-40's]: Edward "Ned" Leeds appeared early in Peter Parker's life as a reporter for the Daily Bugle. Frequently, he and Peter would struggle for the affections of Bugle Secretary Betty Brant, and eventually Ned won and married her. However the couple's marriage was often strained. When Spider-Man battled the Hobgoblin, Ned followed him to the villain's hideout. When Kingsley realized Ned was present, he captured and brainwashed the unlucky reporter, deciding it would be better to have a scapegoat in case he became unmasked. Ned Leeds approached Richard Fisk, son of the Kingpin, to find out about his father. Discovering that Richard hated his father, Leeds helped him create a secret identity as the crime boss the Rose. Kingsley, wanting to become the new crime leader, wanted Ned to knock the older Fisk off his throne so he could have it.
Michael Rosenbaum [Height: 6' 0", Age: 41, Notable Works: Smallville, Breaking In, Hit and Run]: Mike is a charming actor, He's fun, and he's insightful. He is by all means a team player. He would bring the character out and have fun with it, few other actors could really play this one well.
Sergiee Kravenoff/Kraven The Hunter [Height: 6' 0", Age: 40's-50's]: Born into an aristocracy that had come to an end, Sergei Kravinoff (Russian: Сергей Kravinoff), also known as Kraven, became one of the world's greatest hunters to fulfill his sense of lost nobility, but became bored. Kraven's associate (later revealed to be his half-brother) proposed to Kraven he hunt Spider-Man, and thus gave Kraven new purpose in life.
Jean Claude-Van Damme [Height: 5' 10", Age: 53, Notable Works: Universal Soldier, JCVD, The Expendables 2]: Jean has been wanting a comic book role, and he really needs something that's physical. He needs a hunting like character, and Kraven is by far the best character for him. It allows Jean to be a villain and to really use his assets as a Martial Artists. He's a creative choice for it and would do a perfect job as Kraven.
Dmitri Smerdyakov/Chameleon [Height: Variable, Age: Unknown]: Born a Russian citizen named Dmitri Smerdyakov (Russian: Дмитрий Смердяков), Chameleon was the half-brother of Sergei Kravinoff. His parents were Sergei's father and Sonya Smerdyakov, a servant girl. He was taught to hate himself from his arrival in the Kravinoff family. His father hated the sight of his face and his mother considered him a humiliation. The only member in his family who barely tolerated him was the legitimate son Sergei, who was also abusive towards him. In order to impress Sergei, he entertained him by using his impersonation skills on his neighbors and friends. Dmitri was so deeply scarred that he repressed his very identity and came to believe he had been friends with Sergei. However, his own family never knew his true face, which was told by the Black Widow.
Ola Rapace [Height: 5' 11", Age: 42, Notable Works: Skyfall, Beyond, Together]: Ola doesn't seem to get the attention he needs. He does wonderful work and has really kept in the shadows taking roles that fit him and more often then not being artistic films. Ola has immense talent and would be a fun actor to include in Spider-Man, he would be perfect for Chameleon.
Dr. Michael Morbius [Height: 5' 10", Age: 20's-30's]: Dr. Michael Morbius was a brilliant scientist working on blood diseases. After learning that he himself had a rare disease, his research reached obsessive levels. He began to study vampire bats. An accident during an experiment turned him into a being that resembled the vampires of lore. Morbius vowed to only prey upon criminals. Still, his actions normally cause him conflict with most other heroes, especially Spider-Man.
Gaspard Ulliel [Height: 5' 11", Age: 29, Notable Works: Hannibal Rising, A Very Long Engagement, The Princess of Montpensier]: People really pan him for his performance as Intern Hannibal Lecter. He's a fantastic actor and I enjoyed his performance. It was Dark, troubled and almost vampiric. He would actually be perfect. Maybe a bit young for some fan's taste but I think he's got the right qualities to bring Morbius to life.

Quentin Beck/Mysterio [Height: 5' 11", Age: 40's]: Quentin Beck was born in Riverside, California. Before becoming Mysterio, Beck was a special-effects wizard who worked for a major studio and had dreams to make a name for himself in the film industry. Beck began his career as a movie stuntman in Hollywood, then became interested in special effects. He became one of the most accomplished special effects designers in the industry, but due to lack of recognition, he wanted to become an actor. However, he lacked the looks and talent to be a star and the patience to be a director, and saw his career in special-effects to be a dead-end job. When a friend of his jokingly suggested that the quickest way to become famous was to take out a costumed hero, Beck realized that his expertise in illusions could make him an effective super-villain.
Jeffrey Donovan [Height: 6' 0", Age: 45, Notable Works: Burn Notice, J. Edger, Changeling]: Jeff is a great and constantly evolving actor. He's smart, and he is fun. He gets to really play all sorts of characters and has really mastered his character disguising himself. His work on Burn Notice shows he could play different characters and personalities all centering to one. With Mysterio he could do all manners of different aspects for Mysterio and bring him out to be such a villain.
William Baker/Sandman [Height: Variable, Age: 40's]: New York native William Baker, often known on the streets as Flint Marko, was a common criminal who spent most of his early life drifting in and out of street gangs and correctional facilities. While on the run from the FBI in Georgia, Barker took a moment to relax on a beach. When the steam system of a nearby nuclear test reactor exploded, it dumped massive doses of radiation on the beach, as well as Baker. After regaining consciousness, Baker discovered that his body had bonded with the sand around him, and he could form himself into almost anything he desired. With his new found power, Baker began a super-powered lifestyle that has brought him head to head with the likes of Spider-Man.
Randy Couture [Height: 6' 1", Age: 50, Notable Works: The Expendables, The Expendables 2, Big Stan]: This one was a pretty tough choice, I was gonna go with a more Urban oriented actor like Terry Crews but when I thought about it, I felt someone who is more of a meathead would fit this role. He's a strong actor and could really play this type of role. He has the real strength and Power would be actually dynamic whetehr this version would be the common crook or mob enforcer.
Mac Gargan/Scorpion [Height: 6' 2", Age: 30's-40's]: Former private investigator Mac Gargan was hired by J. Jonah Jameson to find out how Peter Parker was able to get incredible pictures of Spider-Man. Gargan's efforts to locate Peter in order to find out the truth triggered Parker's spider sense, making him easily avoidable every time. Frustrated, Jameson decided to pay $10,000 to Gargan to be the subject of an experiment. The experiment, created by Dr. Farley Stillwell, a researcher in animal mutation, which endowed the subject with the characteristic of another animal. Unfortunately the process resulted in the loss of Gargan's sanity, and the creation of the super-powered criminal menace known as the Scorpion.
Scott Adkins [Height: 5' 11", Age: 37, Notable Works: The Expendables 2, Undisputed 3: Redemption, Ninja]: I felt like giving Scorpion a more physical performer. Scott has played very evil people before and I like to think this is a role that would grab him and allow him to add dimensions for the role and put his character's trademarks to good and inventive use. Allowing him to throw martial arts in and use Scorpion's tale as a martial arts weapon would be neat.
Herman Schultz/Shocker [Height: 5' 9", Age: 40's]: Herman Schultz was a career criminal who, after several prison terms for robbery, built a battle suit that sent out shock waves to quickly open safes as well as give himself a one-up on the authorities. The Shocker had the ability to shock his enemies with his hand held vibro-shock units, but because the vibrations were so fierce, he wore a heavily insulated suit. During his first outing as the self-styled "Shocker" he ran into and defeated Spider-Man (albeit the hero was suffering a broken arm at the time) who became Schultz's nemesis.
Walton Goggins [Height: 5' 10", Age: 42, Notable Works: Justified, The Shield, Django Unchained]: Walton has proven himself to be intimdating and intelligent in his characters. Justified really shown that he has some real talent to play inhuman monsters with methodical intent. To give him one of my favorite Spider-Man Villains and give him Carte Blanch to re-invent and transform the character into a different villain would really be a treat to see. He would Iconify the Shocker.
Adrian Toomes/Vulture [Height: 5' 11", Age: 60's]: Adrian Toomes was born in Staten Island, New York. He is a former electronics engineer who was once the business partner of Gregory Bestman; Bestman handled the finances whilst Toomes handled the inventions. One day, after creating a flight harness, Toomes eagerly rushed into Bestman's office to share the happy news. However, Bestman was not there, and Toomes discovered that Bestman had secretly been embezzling funds and that Toomes had no legal recourse, meaning he lost his job. Enraged, Toomes wrecked the business, discovering that the harness also granted him superhuman strength. He then decided to turn to crime professionally as the Vulture
Michael Keaton [Height: 5' 10", Age: 62, Notable Works: Batman, Robocop, Beetlejuice]: I loved, Loved Keaton in Robocop. He was a scene stealer for me. And I want to see him as a villain, a true psychopathic villain and the Vulture fits so very well. The Vulture isn't a lovable character, he's a dark, monster. He's a villain who would be accurately labeled as a sadist and that's what I want to see Keaton do. He would be perfect for Vulture.
Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich/Rhino [Height: 6' 5", Age: 40's]:Aleksei Sytsevich (Russian: Алексей Михайлович Sytsevich) was just another thug in the Russian Mafia, grasping at dreams of easy money, and headed for a short brutal life. Seduced by promises of wealth and power, Aleksei underwent a life-threatening series of chemical and radiation treatments throughout several months to transform him into an agent with superhuman strength for a collective of professional spies. In part, this was to support his family. Aleksei's powerful armor, permanently bonded to his form, was modeled after the hide of a rhinoceros. Two scientists named Igor and Georgi chose this form, both for its visual impact and in recognition of the fact that the rhino was the result of countless generations of evolution towards the ultimate form for armored assault. They selected Aleksei for his muscular physique and low intelligence, which they believed would insure his loyalty.
Vinnie Jones [Height: 6' 2", Age: 49, Notable Works: Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels, Snatch, X-Men The Last Stand]: His performance as Bullet Tooth Tony is largely what I'd like to see in a modern characterization of the Rhino. Vinnie is actually a strong actor and can definitely do better as a villain than his hammed-up written Juggernaut. I think with proper writing he could make Rhino one of the most intimidating performances ever.
Dr. Jonathan Ohnn/The Spot [Height: 5' 10", Age: 40's]: Working for the Kingpin, Dr. Jonthan Ohnn had made a scientific breakthrough, he was able to create a fully functional portal, allowing dimensional or simple locational leaps in only a matter of seconds. But after venturing in the portal he created the portal had "attached" it self to Ohnn, giving him mental control over the portals and allow him to travel through them, his mind warped and he became the supervillain known as "The Spot!"
Christian Carmago [Height: 6' 1", Age: 42, Notable Works: Dexter, Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Hurt Locker]: Christian is a fine actor, and I never intended to use this many Dexter actors in this cast, but when it came to the Spot, being a last minute addition I really needed an actor who would do something with it. He's a fantastic actor, and he's got an edge to him that really allows him to play such interesting villains. I find him to be an intriguing actor and that is what the spot would neat to be considered even a notable Spider-Man Villain. No doubt Christian could bring him into the light and make the Spot famous.
