THE MAN OF STEEL
I wanted to make a Superman poster which showed his deep connection in both space and on earth, and emphasised his appearance as an near-godlike character.
The model for Supes was just a stock picture I picked up from DeviantArt which suited my needs really well. I really didn't want to choose an actual actor for him since a suitable picture would have been almost impossible to find and this way I'll hopefully be able to make a friendly discussion without accidentally starting off a nerd rage.
Anyway, here's the poster:
I tried to make this feel a lot different to Superman Returns which, while not being quite as bad as some make it out to be, wasn't the Superman movie we really wanted.
Things you might've missed:
-If you look closely at the picture of the city [you might not actually be able to see this] you can see the man of steel flying off in the distance and the Daily Planet globe on the top of a building.
-The green stuff around the logo. I wanted some sort of hint at the villain, but wanted it vague, so you might need to use your brains to figure it out.

Okay, that was stupidly obvious. I ruined the mystery. It's Brainiac guys.
