For such a long time I have been asking myself the question of "What is the Worst Comic Book Movie Ever?" that hasn't been such an easy question to answer. Comic boom movies have been made all the way down to the 1920's with the first masked hero to inspire the kids to put on masks. I have spent half of 2012 hoping that the new movies coming out wouldn't suck, but alas there is always that turd of a movie that makes you question "Do I really need to watch another superhero movie?" Then there's those exciting movies that have us giggling with anticipation. Not all the movies that have come out over the decades have inspired us, made us want to don a cape and tights or brought respect to the characters that we have grown loving in the pages of our favorite monthly comics. So this is for all the fans from the fans, reaching out to each one of you to help answer this question "What is the worst comic book movie ever?" It is up to us as fans to point out all the flaws and make our voices heard, it's not trolling, flaming or disrespectful to make producers, directors and studio execs understand that we don't want films just thrown together we want our beloved characters to be treated with the respect that we have given them for so many years. In the following videos you will hear different opinions on these movies but you will also hear stories and choices that you yourself can agree with.

Batman & Robin has to win this. I believe that's the only movie on this list that makes me angry enough to verbally abuse my cat

Clearly ANYONE who votes for anything besides Catwoman has less than half a brain...period. Sure Batman & Robin comes to mind as a horrible Batman movie...but Catwoman was just pure shite.

I agree Batman & Robin is crap but the people that made Catwoman had the benefit of watching Batman & Robin and they still made crap.

As for the Spirit.... just thinking about it makes Black Widow and Fury the uncool Avengers

Okay, you really should have separated the TV movies from the big screen movies. I haven't even heard of alot of these. Batman and Robin is bad (it actually seems to get worse as time go by), but I did kind of like Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl, so I won't put it at the bottom. Catwoman was horrible too. Green Lantern is so far above those 2 it's not even funny (I didn't think Green Lantern was that bad, although it was definitely the worst of the big-budget comic book movies of the past few years. I haven't seen Ghost Rider 2 though, so that one may be worse.) Howard the Duck is just ridiculous, but it's so ridiculous that I don't think it even belongs in this category. It's ridiculous on a whole different level. No, for comic book superhero movies, it has to be Superman IV. The premise was just dumb (seriously, the U.S. and Soviet Union are going to just keep test firing all their missiles so that Superman can catch them and put them in a big net? As far as that goes, there's no way that either the U.S. or the Soviet Union would not try to stop Superman with kryptonite, since losing their nuclear deterrent leaves both vulnerable to conventional attack, by each other and other countries too.) The idea that there is one group of arms suppliers that actually supply nuclear weapons to both the U.S. and U.S.S.R is really dumb too, neither country is going to depend on a third-party for that. The idea that Superman would donate a strand of hair to a museum to prove his strength is even dumber (he's smart enough to know that someone might decide to do some genetic testing with it at some point.) And the idea that Nuclear Man (or whatever his name was) would have his main weapon be slightly longer fingernails that could scratch Superman and make him sick is the dumbest idea of all. And, amazingly, they actually came up with a sidekick for Lex Luthor who was even dumber than what's-his-name from the first two movies. (As far as that goes, the idea of a sidekick for Lex Luthor is pretty dumb, period. A henchmen maybe, sidekick, no.)

I know I should have left the TV shows out of it at first it was gonna be about just Big Budget Comic Movies but I let the guys at Dynamite comics have free rain and it got me thinking there is some really bad movies out there maybe even MORE than the actual good films...

Green Lantern was not a great film but it is definitely not the worst. It would probably be a tie between Batman and Robin, Catwoman, and Electra.

Batman & Robin is GOLD compared to Catwoman, SuperGirl, Steel, Howard the Duck, Fantastic Four (old), and Elektra. The only reason it's more hated than these films is because it's Batman and therefore more popular. B&R was purposely campy, which people didn't like. The rest of the the movies tried to be serious and were shit.
