FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.


Directed by Josh Trank, The Fantastic Four reboot stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman, and Jamie Bell as the Thing. The film is scheduled for release on August 7, 2015.

Great cast aside, I just don't see anything in this. Was never a FF fan anyway so this just looks like another run of the mill origin story with a "together we can conquer all" message.

I'm pissed off because they're marketing this as more of a blockbuster than the first trailer that made it seem more Sci-Fi which is a lot more interesting than what it's looking like now. Hopefully it ends up being more Sci-Fi than blockbuster.

we are hating this movie because:

- Marvel fans are well known fanatics
- the movie look average
- we don't like the cast
- we don't like the idea of black Johny Storm
- we heard rumours about Trank on set breakdown/Kinberg saying bad things about him to Disney
- we didn't liked Chronicle
- The Thing have no pants/his voice sucks
- Doom's makeup kinda sucks
- they are using Kanye West song in tv spots
- Doom is blogger in this one (which is kinda not true. He's a programist)

That Doom voice is sexy, no doubt Kebell will be the standout. They really are all over the place with the advertising, I hope this doesn't turn out to be a Daredevil situation, where the Director's cut is pretty good, but the theatrical cut is a mess.

This gets worse and worse. "Flame On" was awful. The Thing's voice is terrible. I won't bother no matter how good a rating. Doom looks like he's wrapped in plastic wrap.

Ant-Man was pretty average but I in no way hated that movie.

I'm always disappointed when CBMs turn out to be average so I guess that will remain true if this ends up being no better than average. Though, its all in expectation; I was not really interested in an Ant-Man movie and when it turned out decent I was pleasantly surprised, even though I never need to see it again.

How can you say Thing's voice is wrong. It sounds just like Michael Chiklis' version and every cartoon version. In the burger commercial he even has the NY accent.

What's wrong with Parallel universe for a crossover? The thing that ties Apocalypse and Doom together is Kang. It seems like a smart fit.
